Naturally Chevy

I booked with the new stylist, Mitsie. She is welcoming, gentle, and professional. Honestly, I was apprehensive about going--so much so that I wanted to go through with a late cancellation and be penalized (there is a 50% service charge if you cancel with 24 hrs. of the service). Upon meeting Mitsie, my trepidation melted away. Such a lovely demeanor she has.
I had falsely assumed that I could pay extra for take-down and detangling services, but that wasn't the case. Once I realized this, I didn't have time to change or cancel the appointment. I had the arduous task of trying to "prep" my hair

First of all what I liked is the fact that she had an early appointment. Next, as she's doing your hair she tells you the steps, so there's no surprises. She explains what shes doing. I didn't get the color I was aiming for but we got into that family. She didn't want to damage my curls by over processing to get the color i wanted. My next appointment we will work to get me there. I love that she cared about my curls and educated me on products that she used on it. I definitely recommend her for your hair needs.

I had a GREAT experience. I was a little nervous coming into the salon after hearing and experiencing so many horror stories. But Chevy was great! She explained everything as she did it, told me the products she was using and why she was using it. She didn't leave me in the dark about anything. She even went into details about my hair type. But most importantly, she listened to what I wanted and worked with me instead of doing her own thing. Overall a great experience

Let me tell you at Chevy! She is a breath of fresh air.

I had been looking for someone to care for my natural hair for years. I've tried numerous places and it always felt rushed or the service wasn't great. Not to mention, my natural hair did not turn out too great. The other places I've tried charge so much and basic parts of the service are always extra.

Ahhh! Like a refreshing cold glass of water on a hot day! That's how you feel about going to Chevy! I have been looking for consistency and skill for my natural hair. I set up a consult, she had me take off my hat (grumbles) and went in for what I wanted and what she recommended. At the actual hair appointment post consult she washed and loved my hair. She brushed through my hair like it was silk or something and let me tell you guuurllll!!! It. Ain't. Silk. She trimmed and blow dried me slightly and twisted my hair. I think I've found my stylist. I'm a new customer and was referred to her by a friend. Ms.Chevy was so nice and professional. I have natural 4c hair and she definitely knew how to take care of it. Unlike other stylists that are extremely rough with 4c hair, Ms.Chevy was very gentle when it can to the wash and detangling. I was very pleased with the entire service and would definitely recommend her to anyone with any texture hair but especially natural hair.

Chevy has been doing my hair nearly 6 years!! She helped me transition to natural then to locs! I couldn't have found a better stylist than her. She's patient, understanding and takes the time to explain hair progress and how to manage. Also great at coloring. All around amazing service

Let me start by saying I procrastinate. Second let me say Chevy is so sweet. She really takes her time with deciding what by getting a good look at your hair first before just jumping in. I was under the impression that she doesn't want to do more then the hair needs so as not to add what isn't going to help if that makes any sense? My hair was super cute and felt super clean when I left. I'm going back soon and am honestly excited!

Okay, can I just say that this was the best service for hair I've ever received?! No, not natural hair service, I'm talking hair period! Chevelle, or Chevy as she likes to go by, was soooo awesome! I booked with her for my birthday (this past Wednesday) for some well needed maintenance, and in the early morningtime! Although I came prepared with my own cup of coffee, Chevy was ready and willing to fix me a cup (how sweet)! Incredible hairstylist. She took me through every step of cutting my hair, treating it, then twisting it. Even gave me a list of products to use to maintain my hairs health. She’s super sweet and I love that it’s a comfortable, private room. You won’t regret going with her. I’m definitely a return customer.

Wow! What a positive experience. First, she talked to me about my hair goals and products before she touched my hair. Second. Once the cleansing process started she explained each step. She did the same at styling. Love my cut and style. Third. She explained how to care and style my natural hair on my own. She is professional. Timely. Fourth. The salon is spotless and she complies with the appropriate guidelines for Covid sanitation. I will return.

She is super professional and so sweet. I drove an hour from Miami just to come to her. She is super knowledgeable about your specific hair and its needs. I went for a thirty minute in person consult. Timeliness is very important and she was prepared when I arrive. Chevy was patient, examined my routine. Told me how to improve and explained my next steps in my hair goals. I'll report again after she does a style. However, if yuh are trying to find your style grove styling your natural hair, I recommend.

I'm so glad I found Chevy when I moved to the Miami area. She's talented and covid-19 friendly (a huge plus since I have an infant at home). You get excellent value going to her and she's punctual which shows that she values your time. Most importantly, she takes a lot of pride in her work which I appreciate. Chevy is great!

Before I went to Chevy I had to deal with hairstylist that made my hair look good but not healthy or grow longer. She’s been my hair stylist for almost 3 years now and I love her. She’s kind, knowledgeable about hair, and really cares about making you look good from the inside out. Great hairstylist.

Chevy is amazing! She is a talented stylist who truly cares about the health of your hair. I've been coming to Chevy since 2017 for a variety of services and mostly for protective styling, including crochet and updos. I always get compliments on her styles. She also did my big chop and has been my secret weapon in my natural hair journey. Trims and treatments with her have also left my hair healthy. She simplifies natural hair care by giving tips and recommendations on caring for my hair kinky, coily hair at home and in between visits. She's very professional, sweet, and knowledgeable

Chevy is the best. She can do anything and she has grown mine and my daughter's hair. She does it all. Clips, wigs, braids, natural and chemicals. I can't say enough about her talent or people skills.

Chevy is the best! She rescued me when I realized my hairstyle was a no go for a wedding I was in. I was visiting the area from out of state. She had mercy on me and squeezed me in. She was quick, courteous, professional and great with my natural hair. My standards are crazy high as I have had some amazing stylists.
