This was my first time visiting Beelay and having Tyler cut my hair. Being so busy, I really appreciated making an appointment online at 10:30 PM. (He is a one stylist show, so this is a great feature you will appreciate once in the chair as he was never interrupted by taking calls...).
This man is a perfectionist! I got a great cut and blow dry and there was no rushing. He took his time talking to me about what I wanted as well as what was truly possible with my hair. Then, watching him work in the mirror showed me just how meticulous he is!

Finding Tyler was the best thing I have done for myself and my hair in a long time! What a wonderful experience. I had a great time in Tyler's chair - from the moment I walked in, he made me feel comfortable and at home. I’ve lived in the NMB area for years and I’m SHOCKED more people haven’t heard of Tyler. I was in search of a new stylist and my friend recommended him. From the moment I stepped in he was welcoming, personable, and made the whole experience a dream. I have horrible allergies and asthma and normally dread getting my highlights since it tends to trigger it. Since he uses all organic, ammonia- free products, I didn’t experience the normal “side-effects.” I left the salon with hair that not only felt beautiful, but healthy. Can’t wait to go back. 10/10.

Tyler is the best! Great advise & guidance on my hair questions, really takes the time to talk it over and make you comfortable. Has a line of his own products that leave my hair feeling amazing and I highly recommend.

Four years ago Tyler Fenix took my stringy, crispy hair and did something marvelous: he made me look like, dare I say, a confident woman who is definitely not crazy and who doesn't go around feeding stray cats. I have been coming to Tyler for over 2 years and I will continue to come because of the consistently beautiful job he does with my hair. I was referred to Tyler because he is one of the few salons to use ammonia free hair color products and I have terrible reactions to the chemicals in regular hair color products. My hair is gorgeous after Tyler colored, cut my hair. He gave me one of the best haircuts, it is easy and manageable for once. Tyler is a professional who knows how to cut hair. I came to Beelay after reading all the wonderful Yelp reviews. I hoped to finally find someone who was really knowledgeable about color and would be able to give me natural, sun kissed highlights for years to come. My hair was washed out from years of highlights, so I wanted to give it some dimension. Tyler is, in fact, very knowledgeable and took a lot of time my first visit talking with me. I believe this hair salon is one of the best kept secret in Miami. My hair color was perfect as was my haircut. I have had many people cut my hair but this time it was the best. Tyler is fantastic! After a bad experience with another salon I was referred to Tyler, what a difference. Tyler is not only very experience and knowledgeable but he listens to you and really recommends what is best for your har. Tyler’s friendly and fun personality make every session past by like you were there a few minutes. He starts every session with relaxation head shoulder combo massage along aromatherapy that get you into the zone. Love it! I am client for life.

I decided to try out ammonia free coloring after I got very sick from regular chemical dye last year and I was very pleased with the results. The color payoff is great and works with my health but the best part is that Tyler really knows his color combinations. I really wanted someone to tell me what color would suit my skin tone and he helped me find one that I can't stop getting!

I am from New York City, upper East Side to be exact but moved away to raise a family in 1992 but went back to the City until I moved to Florida, SC and back to Florida. Since I left New York I have never found ANYONE with any talent so by the time I met Tyler I was still skeptical. I LOVE getting my hair done with Tyler and his Eco Color products, which are Organic and healthy, using no ammonia. I have been his client for many years now, and he is a master at his craft. Each time I go, he is meticulous with color and attention to detail and my hair looks amazing! My hair is completely white/grey at the roots, and this hair color easily covers the hard-to-color grey. Also my hair is red - and red is one of the fastest colors to fade. Tyler has perfected the formula for getting my red color awesome every time and having it stay natural and looking great for a long time
