Each of our suites offers home-style accommodations with gracious and genuine comfort. Custom designed cherry furniture is elegantly complemented by rich fabrics in warm hues of yellow, ochre and red that sweetly evoke the beauty and flavor of the Tuscany countryside. The living area offers an array of sophisticated furnishings, luxurious and comfortable seating and graceful window treatments.
Make yourself at home in one of the 86 air-conditioned rooms featuring flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless Internet access keeps you connected, and satellite programming is available for your entertainment. Private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Portland's water creates a city of dramatic contrasts. The land has produced forests and farms where loggers and farmers cultivate what grows from the earth. Keeping the city livable for its residents and not extending urban growth are two main objectives of Portlanders. Maintaining forest, farm and green space is of utmost importance.

We stayed in a 2br suite for six days. Rooms are comfortably modern and extremely clean. Staff was always professional, prompt, and helpful. A great location close to shops and nightlife, but tucked away from the main drag. Great for a short or extended stay, or a weekend "away" in your own town.
Only downside, guest laundry does not have hot water and the dryer does not seem to get hot either. It should be updated.

We stay here about 1-2 times a year. Reasonably priced rooms and suites in a older hotel with an annex across the street. Neighborhood area with conveniences within walking distance. Near MAX and TriMet. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed in single queen rooms and 2 bedroom suites. Both had a kitchenette with the basics for meal prep and eating. Always friendly staff. The one downside of the Parklane IS parking. There is a lot for each building but spaces are limited. And the street parking is also hard to get. We usually get a space and walk, transit or uber about.

My go to place to stay in the area right now... it's clean and for a great price. Really great staff. Right across the street from elephants delicatessen. Could use some updated photos as my room had wooden floors, an updated bed and pillows, and no kitchenette fridge or microwave. Lobby has everything if you do need those last amenities.

I say this relative to the affordable price because you get what you pay for in all areas of life. The location was amazing and everything was walkable. The room was comfortable and there was ample free parking. Some of the towels were dingy and walls are thin but the staff was so accommodating to our needs (shout-out Eric and his other colleague!). They made honest suggestions about local eats and helped us fill our waters since we needed a bunch for our big hikes.

Really enjoyed the size of our suite for the price we paid. Located with in wakling distance of plenty of breweries downtown (and Powell's Bookstore!). Parking is included which is worth a star in itself being in downtown. Really quiet area. Only downside was the shower took FOREVER to warm up. We spend most of the day out exploring and just used the room to sleep, change, and store some food in the kitchen. Was perfect for that.

Stayed during our road trip to visit Mt Hood National Forest and other places for 2 nights on July 2021.
The location was okay. Its inside the city. So very compact place. Tight parking space. The room was really nice. The furniture seems new and it looked like it was recently renovated inside. No fridge or microwave though. A little bummed about it because I bought something for our snack on our trip that needed to be fridge and it got all wasted. Smooth check in and out.

I needed a place for overnight in Portland and couldn't find anyplace that was within my budget. I took a chance, encouraged by the proximity to downtown and the chance to explore a new area. The staff I had interactions with were all friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. My room was simple (no extra amenities like fridge or microwave) but suited my needs. It was clean and comfortable and quiet which are all more important to me than having fancy furnishings.

This hotel is pretty bad. No daily room cleaning, no fridge, no safe, very bland interior decor, and if you stay in the rooms across the street from the front desk, no view. Toilet barely works.
That said, it isn't dirty, the WiFi works, and the AC did the trick during 90 degree weather. We paid $89 per night so I guess that's not awful, but I've stayed in motels in this price range with lots more luxuries and thought for their customers.

This place is pretty awesome. It has everything you need. (If you book the suite which isn't even that expensive) . It's in a great location. The staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the free tea/coffee bar and cookies. The little details here are fantastic. They provide all the toiletries you need. My room was quiet and spacious on the 4th floor. The parking was free. Suite has a full size fridge, microwave, small dishwasher, toaster, small oVen glass top, dishes silverware, pots, pans, literally everything you need. The bathtub is deep and nice to soak in. My 1 small complaint is the

Two years ago, I visited Portland with one of my kids and stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Portland located in the middle of downtown Portland. They presented themselves as being very ritzy and posh, but left me completely unimpressed with their grotesque greed. My gripes, reflected in my yelp review, included $40/day parking and a refrigerator crammed full of honor bar crap.
Upon my second trip to Portland, I decided to aim not for the center of downtown but to instead look for a good balance between value and location.
Park Lane Suites and Inn strikes this balance perfectly.

So my mother stayed on the other side of this motel last year. We stayed here and had a room on the Volvo dealership side. This is the building on the east side of the street. Our room faced east with a city view which was nice, but next door to our room is a Victorian home with two very loud dogs. One is quite aggressive as you can see in the pictures and barks violently each time you go down the stairs. Not good at all. These people weren't home as we went by to try and chat with them. They leave their dogs out in their yard all day and probably don't realize how loud they are. Dog

This review is for the Park Lane Inns. The price per night is decent compared to other hotels in the area. I appreciate the fact that parking is free here. HOWEVER, parking at the Inns is a nightmare on Earth. The parking lot is super tiny and both front and back lot is one way streets. The back lot is straight up a dead end so... I'm going to have fun backing out tomorrow. My room is a double queen and it's well kept (despite other reviews). The room has a clean bathroom with hot water and a place to sleep. You get what you pay for and I'm not upset about it. Neighbors can be a

2 years ago I traveled from New York to la. I say this because during the time I stayed in the crappiest hotels you can imagine, money was key. I can say that even the worst places we stayed in were nowhere near as bad this "hotel" was. Our tiny, tiny room was $120 a night, way overpriced for what we received. It is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The bathroom shower I knew it hadn't been washed in ages. No refrigerator, no microwave, very little room.
We had a friend drop something off and when I say we could barely fit them in the room, I'm being serious

Stayed there during my three weeks visit to Portland, Oregon. The place has an amazing location where almost anything you may need is just a walking distance from the hotel.
The staff are very welcoming, hospitable, kind and helpful. They make you feel right at home.
Will be staying there in my next visit to Portland.

The location is good and there is water in the room and coffee in the lobby. However if you choose one bed, it is not in the main building but across the street. A little inconvenient for getting coffee. The pictures dont show lack of closet or lack of parking,. Even though its free its hard to find one. There is no closet and lack of counter in the bathroom makes it very hard for two people. The beds are described as queen but its really a double bed. Smaller. No headboard and no extra pillows. When askimg for one, i was tongue in cheek way accused of wanting to steal it. Not appreciated at

This hotel is just okay to stay in if you're looking for a hotel in the city with free parking. It's in a great location, but the facility itself...well, not so great.
Just a note: there are two areas to this hotel. One of them is across the street, and the other part is what I believe is the original part of Park Lane Suites. This is also where we checked in. Well, we ended up staying across the street. It almost felt like a motel; heck, it probably was! Upon entering our room, it had a muggy smell to it. You could tell they did the absolute basic remodel just to say they did some

In nicer part of Portland, no transient/homeless in this area that I have seen.
Keep in mind It's not that fancy of a place but it's comfortable, clean and reasonably priced for being in a great & quiet location. You're able to take the Max rail from the airport and get off about a block away from the hotel. Near the Timbers stadium, Forest Park (which is beautiful) & The Alphabet district. There's also a Walgreens and Dutch Bros just around the corner.
This is second time I stay here and I haven't had a bad experience. There's the Inn side and the Suite

Quaint, some decent updates, but bathrooms could use a definite redo.
The bed was ok, not so comfy though, the pullout bed was abominable, would have been just as well off sleeping on the floor, but that was filthy, as was the bathroom floor. A gym is always a plus at any stay. The wifi was fairly slow and there was usually one person working the reception, so if you need anything, you will generally have to get it yourself.

In A Nutshell:
-Ya know, 3 star ratings on Yelp aren't really that bad of a thing.
-Park Lane Suites & Inn is a rock-solid 3-star rating.
-The best part about staying here is the location & price.
-If you are a smart & experienced traveler, then you should know that location is almost everything, throw in a cheap price and you should be sold.
-This location is in a very safe, convenient location: a skip to Dutch Bros Coffee, a hop to Fred Meyer grocery store to stock up on water, snacks & you earn your daily steps when walking towards the river or the many breweries/bars

Park Lane was a decent hotel to stay at during my Portland trip.
Parking is free, until most hotels in the area.
Room was clean, nothing special but it was enough for me. Service was friendly. They provide coffee and water all day. Heater worked and kept me warm and toasty.
Driving distance to all the great locations in PDX.
I was satisfied during my stay here!

Pros: convenient location (A+), free parking lots, cookies, orange juice, and coffee
Cons: No free wi-fi internet access for our ENTIRE trip of four nights! We were trying to conserve as much data as possible, but it was so difficult! Luckily, the Manager dropped our rate for the stay.
The beds are outdated and need to be replaced. The first night, myself and a friend woke up to back and neck aches. If spring, old, and uncomfortable mattresses do not bother you, then by all means this is the PERFECT place to stay!
Despite everything, I enjoyed my stay and would want to stay here in the future
