Our home inspection company's journey began with a simple idea - our "Aha" moment over 21 years and 6,000 home inspections ago. Aber Home Inspections prides itself on always providing a quality and valuable home inspection for our customers. Our experience and knowledge dictate our prices! There may be additional charges for properties that have any of the following: a second kitchen, apartment or detached buildings.

The inspection process begins with our Contract. North Carolina requires the use of a written contract/agreement between Home Inspectors and their clients. You will receive a copy of this document for your signature at the time of scheduling by email. The contract can be signed and returned by email or it can be signed on the day of the inspection.
Aber Home Inspection reports are created in an easy to follow format of the major systems of the house in a well-executed combination of checklist and descriptive narrative. The report will include color photographs where they will do the most good in helping identify items of concern, such as those that need repair or replacement.

Absolutely top notch home inspector. Used their services for both a framing/pre-drywall inspection and pre-closing inspection and they were extremely thorough, responsive, and professional. This was my first time using Aber Home Inspections after my prior go-to inspector relocated to another part of the state, and they did a phenomenal job. We recently had a home maintenance inspection performed by Aber Home Inspections. Bob and Carol Aber, the owners, were terrific to work with. They’re knowledgeable, very thorough, and extremely personable. They took as much time as was necessary to complete the job – there was no rushing to be done by a certain time - and welcomed questions as they went through the inspection process. The inspection report they created was very detailed and was provided to us within two days of the inspection. I would highly recommend the services of Aber Home Inspections.

Very Thorough! The report received contained pictures and well described information about what was appearing in the picture. We are planning on using this as our punch list on what and how to prioritize work on the house. Bob and his wife also asked us about any specific areas we wanted them to pay attention to and they did.
