The staff were super friendly and I wish them well! My manicure is just fine. I’m just a little frustrated about the edges - you can see the tip of my nail peeking out under the polish, and my technician also painted my nails very far away from my cuticle. Its an odd look and kind of makes the nails look grown out and older than they are, which disappointed me. Wish they didn’t do that but apart from that it was a good experience.

My highlights were disastrous, terrible bleed marks throughout, and orange in color. The most disturbing part is the owner did the work and let me leave the salon knowing the nightlights bleed and the color was orange. What I thought was a little tweaking when I got home turned into a complete color correction at another salon. When I decided to reach out to the owner to express my disappointment she didn't even respond. All of this and she charged almost $300.00 and accepted a large tip from my sister.

I wish I could write a good review I traveled over an hour and gave a detailed description over the phone of my hair type and the service I wanted provided. I was charged 400 dollars for spotty and brassy roots. I understand that the service took a long time but you would hope that after paying that much money you wouldn’t be rushed out the door after the service was finished with many mistakes and foil marks ..... I don’t mind paying for a stylists time but please make sure the price of the service matches the quality given, I also wish I could say tony would be a good stylist for someone

I'm so delayed in writing this, as I've been to Toni at least twice now! My first appointment, Toni fixed a heavy-handed highlight job (that was done by a different salon). She was courteous, confident, quick (without rushing), and really listened to me.
My second appointment was several weeks later - even longer than I'd normally stretch for highlights. Toni did such a nice job blending in the first appointment, that there really wasn't a need to go back once my roots came in. For this appointment, she was running behind schedule and was extremely apologetic. I assured

Everyone that works here is so nice and professional. I wanted to go short like a pixie and I have curly hair. So I was nervous. But my stylist, Ann, made me feel really comfortable, she got me some water, we chatted, and we really discussed exactly what I wanted. She explained everything and it came out perfect!
Edit: September 2019: I went back and got another haircut from Lisa and I love it!!! Even shorter this time :)

Capture salon is the place I have been going to for a while now. I do not trust anyone else to do my hair, ever.... Alex is great and Joey as well!! Not to mention they have the cutest dogs there too: Lucy and Charlie. They are toy poodles, if I'm not mistaken, and you can even have them sit on your lap while you get your hair done. CUTEST LITTLE PUPPIES IN THE WORLD!!!
They are a little pricey but absolutely worth every penny you pay. I even went there to get my hair cut and dyed a couple days before my wedding and I went there the day of my wedding to get my hair styled. They are amazing

This salon gives off the impression of a high class salon but the reality is that if you come off even slightly unhappy, you are turned away and somehow made to be the bad guy. The receptionist implied that I was too trashy for their salon. That is totally innapropriate customer service. I believe there are few bad reviews for this salon because they threaten legal action whenever someone is unhappy with their service.
Side note: Tony is a very good hair stylist and did do an amazing job. I just wasn't happy with the way the color came out and the way the salon lied to protect their interests

I was in dire need of good gifts for my gf. She kept mentioning the need for good hair products for the past month. I noticed capture salon while nearby and decided to stop in. The front desk lady greeted me happily and I mentioned my problem. Leah not only helped me find an assortment of products she was also informative and knew exactly what products would work well with my girlfriends hair. I left happy and relieved to of found a great set of gifts. I will definitely be planning to bring her in for a haircut. Thank you Leah and the Salon for helping me last minute!

*Visiting from NY for my nieces wedding, I was recommended to the lovely Capture Salon.
This place is gorgeous - and very clean. Seriously I don't think there was a hair on the floor!
From the initial phone call to the sweet receptionist Leah, to my visit with Sandra- Capture Salon was a refreshing and wonderful experience.
Sandra is an excellent makeup artist and hair stylist and I highly recommend her and this salon.

Got a pedicure here yesterday and Liz, I believe was the technician and she did an amazing job!! Spent the extra time on my heels and trouble areas and never seemed rushed. I really appreciate someone who truly seems to care about their job and doing it well, and this salon has people who do just that! Kudos!

With that said, the receptionist was really nice, hard-working, attentive, and accommodating. The place is beautiful, clean, and inviting.
My stylist, was nice, but I was very disappointed with the outcome. I asked for subtle highlights. I used the word subtle a couple of times, and mentioned I wanted them coppery not blond. Unfortunately, the initial outcome was blond highlights. There is nothing subtle about blond highlights against a head of dark brown (almost black) hair.
She said she could darken them

If I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. One of the worst salon experiences I've had. I was going to be in new haven for a wedding, and did my research for a hair and makeup application. The girl who did my hair was very nice but could not at all blow dry my hair. I felt as tho I was in a clip it's. Very unimpressed I then when to sit to get my makeup done (60$) by the cheapest products on the market. She didn't prime, contour or know how to apply eyeliner. She also applied my fave makeup before my eye makeup, so then my eye makeup went everywhere on my face. I looked freaky

Completely amazed by the beauty and cleanliness of this salon! Was coming in from out of town for a wedding and needed a last minute place for hair and nails for my daughters and myself.
This place quickly helped me with an appointment and when we came in we were greeted by a pleasant young lady in their beautiful establishment.
They offered us coffee and water. We were seen quickly and everyone was so kind and helpful!
