You can get a great blowout before an event, a deep conditioning treatment to add moisture & strength to your hair, and when looking for added shine and tone look no further than a Color Glaze! Eyebrow threading and facial threading is the world's oldest form of hair removal.
We are a "by-appointment" salon open Tuesday through Saturday. Each of our stylists are available on different days of the week, which allows for great flexibility in picking a time that works best for your schedule. We accept walk-ins as long as there is a free appointment space available.
We usually have two to three stylists at the salon on any one given day; however there is no guarantee of availability and it is still recommended that you call ahead for an appointment for an opening.Coloring:We offer: all-over color, partial color, highlighting, color correction and color consultations.

I made an appointment with Becca after having trouble finding someone who would do an all over highlight and get the tone of blonde I like in my are, and she did AMAZING. I live an hour away but am willing to travel, because she nailed everything I asked for and the salon in general was a clean, and very welcoming environment!! If you need highlights I would highly recommend her.

I have been going to Primp for about 7 years. Sarah Renee is my hair stylist. She did my hair for my wedding about 7 years ago and have been going to her ever since. She does an amazing job with my hair every time. She is very flexible with my ever changing hair style and color. I live in Castle Rock and drive to Fort Collins to have her do my hair because I trust her with my hair and she always does an amazing job.

The stylist I’d been with for years decided to retire. A friend recommended going to Primp, specifically Sarah. Sarah is a very warm, professional and talented hair stylist. I wear my hair in a bob. She listened to my concerns when I started going to her in the fall. Now, three months later, I feel as though she’s been cutting my hair for years. The whole experience is totally comfortable and during this time of Covid, I appreciate her attention to health and safety.

I have been going to Primp for years. Initially, I started going because I liked that they had more natural products. I've continued to go to Primp because Sarah Renee does a great job. I love the camaraderie among the stylists and guests, and always enjoy my visit there. Recently, I have been impressed with Primp's response to COVID 19 protocols and their implementation of safety measures and guest screening. They re-arranged the salon to provide adequate social distancing, and have good communication about their guidelines and procedures.

Primp is the best, especially if you are looking for a place that goes above and beyond the required restrictions for Covid. You wait in your car until your space has been sterilized and then called to come in for your appointment. Your temperature will be taken prior to entering the studio. I'm in my 70's so very concerned about safety in public spaces. Primp is an extremely clean and safe environment and I have NO stress while getting my hair styled. Love this place! They use more natural products so you can get a beautiful color done without the smelly chemicals. I see Laila & she is fabulous! She knows how to work with my curly hair & does the best color work! I enjoy our conversations & I always walk out feeling great!

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time together. I scheduled my appointment here first by a woman named Kesley. She was so professional, nice and super outgoing, it made the time very enjoyable and she did an awesome job on my hair. Since I had such a great experience we kept my boyfriend's appointment in the afternoon with a woman named Kelly. To sum up his whole experience with his words: "I'm never going back there." Becca, thank you for staying late on a Friday night for us. We really appreciate your hard work and dedication. Dani said when she's old enough to color her hair she wants to come back and have you do it. Riley loves her hair as do I! I had never been here before but wanted to get a cut and color for my graduation. This place is on the second floor of an office building so it can be kind of hard to find (there is a bold sign for Primp on the window outside of the building entrance) but I actually prefer this small salon to the bigger ones in old town Fort Collins because the smaller ones seem much more quiet and personal. I went to see Laila and told her I wanted a balayage kind of look with darker tones than my natural lighter brown hair. She knew exactly what I wanted and recommended a color melt in order to avoid bleaching

Can only speak to the quality of hair done for myself and my bridesmaids--poor!
I did a bridal hair and make up consultation. I was decently pleased by the hair, so I booked the stylist for hair for myself and my bridesmaids. I ended up deciding against using Primp for my make up because the stylist straight up wouldn't listen to me on palette direction at all, assuring me, "you'll want this, you'll want this look, trust me."
On the day of, the stylist was sick but still showed up. On one hand, props to her for muscling through it. On the other, stop sneezing and getting

Love Kesley! She's awesome. She listens to what you want and knows what she's doing. She uses good products and doesn't push anything on you like other salons will. I have never had a questionable experience with her. I highly recommend Kesley Ball if you're in need of viable stylist, or looking for a new salon.

This review is from May 2015 for some reason it did not post. I came to Ft Collins for my son's wedding which was held on a Sunday. I was pleased to find a salon that would do an appointment on a Sunday. Kelsey did my hair and makeup for the wedding. I was very pleased with everything! Felt great for the wedding.

Oh my goodness! What a jem this place is! Laila was amazing! I had almost 4 inches taken off that really needed to go! Quick, pampered, and extremely affordable! Plus a brow threading from heaven! The other comments about her being the lightest threader is true! Just told back and relax, no eye or forehead holding or squinting haha

Moving is stressful enough, but when you know you also need to find a good hairstylist, it adds to the stress. I chose to try Primp based on the proximity to where I live and the positive reviews here. Sarah was my stylist. I'm happy to say that my experience was very positive. I liked Sarah instantly! She is very friendly, listened to my needs and gave me an amazing cut. The salon is comfortable and I like that they use natural non-irritating products since I have severe allergies. I would recommend Primp to anyone, and I feel so lucky that I found this place!

I've gone to Sarah at this salon for years and have always been happy with the results. She has done the best job of any hairdresser yet on my hair color, and I am extremely picky. She uses organic hair dye, which is nice, but it doesn't seem to last as long as traditional dyes. She is also able to tame my crazy curly hair with a quality cut and is very careful not to cut off more than is requested; in fact, she usually errs on the side of caution. Sarah is friendly and a great conversationalist, but she isn't so chatty that it's annoying.

Georgia Michelle is the stylist who cut my hair. Recovering from Cancer my hair has suffered greatly due to medications and Radiation. I've always had very long hair. Prior to seeing Georgia I had it trimmed 4" in January elsewhere, bringing my hair up to my waist. However, my hair loss remained pretty substantial. I know it needed to be cut shorter, but I was thinking another 4"; Georgia said 5" would be better. This is my 3rd time going, all 3 times I've had a different stylist. I liked Kelly Day and Lindsay Bofenkamp the most, they took their time and listened to what I wanted, it felt like they were very personable and sincerely cared about my look. I defiantly walked out and felt I got the haircut I wanted with the layers and details I asked for. I however, felt rushed by Sarah,it didn't feel like she really listened to me or wanted to maybe it was an off day, people do have those, she did seem like a genuinely nice person but I just felt like an inconvenience to her. Sarah Renee is amazing! I have difficult hair to cut and she always does a wonderful job. She has been cutting my hair for years now and has colored it a couple times as well which also turned out great. In addition to her awesome hair cuts/ and colorings, she has very affordable pricing and an organic salon! She did mine and my bridesmaids hair as well for my wedding. I have never had a bad experience.

I had an excellent experience at this salon with Sarah! She understood exactly what I wanted and my hair color was absolutely perfect when she was done. The process was relaxing-beverages are available, as well as the most recent issues of lots of magazines. The salon is very nice and I love that they focus on organic hair products which are better for you and better for the environment. For a super quality job, the price was also very reasonable. As long as I am in the area, I will continue to go to Primp for my highlights!
