Orion Martial Arts has been serving the community since 1982. Our goal has always been to make Martial Arts affordable for both Adults and Children. We are the leader in Martial Arts and Tang Soo Do (Korean Karate), self defense, wrestling, weapons, and ninja classes in San Marcos, CA. Our emphasis is to teach adults and children to defend themselves and to have good self-esteem and self-confidence.

Ninjas: You've seen them in movies and if you have children, chances are you've seen them try to mimic the moves of these black-clothed warriors. But do you and your kids know the history of ninjas and what it means to be one? If your child wants to be a ninja (or just act like one), it's important to educate them about what ninjas are and get them into martial arts classes that can teach them proper techniques and safety.

My family has attended for almost 3 years now. Highly recommend for all ages and walks of life. Ma'am is very good at understanding your style and making adjustments within your limits (while still pushing you to succeed). She will not only teach you martial arts; she will provide you with valuable life lessons and practical self defense. We were very fortunate to have found this place and look forward to many more years of instruction!

This Karate school is good and authentic but today I was very disappointed and will not go back again. I am a Muslim and wear a summer beanie as my hair cover, the master told me I have to take it off to be able to practice. I explained it is religious and she said she doesn't allow hats, necklaces, rings..etc. I totally understand about jewellery and hats but it is disheartening she is not able to differentiate between wearing accessories and religious clothes even after I explained twice that it is religious. This is a real disappointment because I liked the place. I was told it is for my safety
