The loss of a loved one is painful enough, then to have to sell the home your parents spent 52 beautiful years together in..is heart breaking. Joy went through with us and was compassionate and kind. She sincerely cares. She gave a wonderful assessment, very professional.

I agree with the other negative reviews. Cherish did our home appraisal and used comps that were 9 months old or more and out of our school district and community. Homes very nearby sold for 40-80,000 more than what she appraised our home within the last 2 months. Do not use this company if you want a fair appraisal. I could tell from the minute trying to schedule with her that she didn’t want to do her job.

Cherish was ever rude and unprofessional to me and my loan officer. I had a question and I called her after the appraisal had been completed on my house. I already own the house, I just wanted to refinance. She informed me she was not allowed to discuss any details of the appraisal of MY house that I live in since the bank contracted Jerrils & Associates.This is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I thought Joy did a great job! Appraising a home is a difficult process, one that if you are not in the business, is hard to fully understand. She was quick and she was accurate. In contradiction to the person who complained about her being fast, as a real estate agent, I appreciate a quick response ... it means she is on top of her work, it does NOT mean she was lazy... just the opposite in fact! Something to note, if your neighbor's home is not the same as yours in type (ranch vs 2-story, etc) and similar to yours in size, features, year built, etc, an appraiser may not be able to use it as a

Joy Jerrils did a horrible job on our appraisal. She took less than 24 hours to do her assessment then compared our home to ones in a different county, different school district, and different township. She came ill prepared to do the assessment and needed me to dig out my husbands ladder so she could look in our attic.
Her assessment states that we live in a "neighborhood of comparable homes" yet she refused to use our neighbors homes as comparable properties (both of which sold in the last 90 days in a week, with multiple offers, for $70k and $120k more than our appraisal). Upon pointing out
