Kids Konnect has five wonderful, award-winning preschools in Redwood City, San Leandro, Pacifica, San Mateo and Oakland for children age 4 months - 6 years to learn and develop through a play-based curriculum with a STEAM focus. We focus on building trusting relationships, both within our own team and with the families we serve.

Services
Kids Konnect Infant Center and Preschool prepares our youngest learners for their school career through a play-based curriculum with a STEAM focus. We provide tools and stimuli to keep children engaged in learning socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively in a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate environment from infants to pre-kindergarten age children.
Kids Konnect Preschool in Oakland offers a fun educational experience through innovative and STEAM focused play-based learning. We've created an environment where teachers talk with children about the world around them so they're engaged all day, not just in the morning. Our Oakland preschool is serene with a large indoor and outdoor space.
Kids Konnect Preschool in Pacifica is a preschool for children aged 18 months to 6 years. Open weekdays 7am - 6pm and a variety of tuition options, we can build a child care plan that works around you and your family. Our play-based STEAM curriculum helps children learn through play and get set up to become life-long learners.

After relocating to the Bay Area earlier this year, we were fortunate enough to find that Kids Konnect had space for our younger daughter.
We were a bit hesitant at first after reading two negative reviews here, but after speaking with Jonquil, who runs Kids Konnect, we were completely reassured.
Reviews on Yelp are often very polarized, so it is not surprising to see both ends of the spectrum, but we are definitely fans.
Our daughter seems to have a great time every day and has made some great friends with some of the other children at Kids Konnect.

Kids Konnect has been nothing short of amazing for our daughter. We still remember dropping her off for her very first day of school (nervous, but excited) and picked her up later that day with a huge smile on her face!
Here are a few highlights that may help parents of future kids:
1. Diversity & Inclusion: Holidays from across the world are celebrated. During the month of December, the kids put together a winter event where they sung festive songs such as Feliz Navidad, Chris Brown's "This Christmas", and a few others I can't quite remember. Sorry!

We were having difficulty finding a preschool in our price range that we liked and felt so lucky to find Kids Konnect. Our son started just after he turned 3 and has thrived there from the first day he arrived. The staff are very communicative and are great with the kids. Our son loves the outdoor play area too.

I walked in to pick up my grandson and found him in a full body lock by Jonquil, the main teacher, as she sat on the floor reading to the class. She had both of her legs around his small body.
There were two other teachers there, so I'm curious as to why one of those teachers could not attend to my grandson, if he was being disruptive.
This is unacceptable to me.
I'm unclear as to why a child has to be restrained in this manner.
No small child should be restrained in this manner by an adult of her size.
AFTER I COMPLAINED, my grandson was immediately terminated from the daycare

My son has been at this school for almost 7 months. I couldn't be happier with our experience. We recently moved from a different state and my son was having a lot of difficulty with the transition. I am a single parent and was under a lot of stress. The teachers were so helpful and felt like my parent partners in helping my son adjust. There is always great communication with the teachers. I feel like my son is loved while he's at school and that's huge! I'm happy he has another year. I'd definitely recommend this school to any parent/family.

Kids Konnect is a wonderful preschool and I will continue to sing their praises to the rooftops!
My daughter Emma is treated like one of their own. Each teacher that she comes across has her best interests at hand. My daughter has attended KK for 15 months (and counting), after starting their program at 26 months. She was watched exclusively by family in my home up to that point. Since she began KK:
1) her vocabulary has blossomed immensely(she went from saying a handful of words to speaking at age appropriate levels now)
2) the manners that she is taught at home are reinforced 100% at

I love Kids Konnect! My daughter has been going there for almost two years and is so happy. I initially chose Kids Konnect over other schools in my price range because the classroom was so bright and organized and there is lots of room to run around outside as well as a large playground structure to climb on. After starting school there, her manners and social skills got better almost immediately, despite being only 2 years old. Since then, I have seen her knowledge of numbers, letters, sign language and Spanish grow. However, the thing that really gets me is how this school has started to feel

My daughter has been at Kids Konnect Oakland since March of 2014, and I am very satisfied with the experiences that we have had there. The lead teacher, directors and staff are experienced, skilled, patient, kind and very responsive to parent communication. I appreciate the emphasis that staff places on teaching and modeling proper age-appropriate communication with the children.

This school was the worst. They went through 6 different teachers in less than 6 months. They are very unorganized, there is no curriculum and no structure. There has been several issues the parents have addressed with child care professionals and child rights. This is by far the worst pre school my child has ever been to the director is inexperienced and should not have a license. They hire people who can not work well with any level of temperament of children. None of the staff for a year that I saw was experienced and most had an AA degree or some form of lower education and not that much experience

This preschool is the best one my son has been to. We tried 3 other preschools and he absolutely loves going to school here every day, he even asks if he can go on the weekend. The teachers are very caring and attentive. They provide him will so much intellectual and physical activity. He has been thriving here and I highly recommend this place for your child.
