I'll place the order online for sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice so I'm getting ready to leave to go pick up my food and I get a call that they don't allow Fried rice with the sweet-and-sour chicken either steamed or brown so I said well then how much is a small fried rice and he's like you can't get a small fried rice if you want fried rice with it you have to pay almost 9 dollars and I was like well OK then let's just cancel the order because I want fried rice with it and he says well we've already got the order done and I'm like why didn&apos

We live about four minutes away, so when our food got here it was still steaming hot. I've eaten colder food fresh straight from our kitchen.
The food is very good, and there's a lot of it. I had the combo fried rice and egg drop soup.
I think I've been here before, and the lady kindly tried to walk me through how spicy the sauce was. I tried to relay the information to my dad (I didn't eat it), and he didn't take me seriously 😅 He was coughing but refused to back down. She gave me something extra too.

I tried this place as suggested by a friend who knows that I love Asian food. I just don't think it's for me. I had the beef fried rice, general tso's chicken, and an appetizer and the beef fried rice was a bit odd. The beef was gray and slimy and it smelled funny. I only took a small bite of it I couldn't actually eat it. The general tso's was okay but it was extremely sweet and not spicy at all and I prefer a spicy flavor but I know that's a preference. The appetizer was bland.

I have been wanting a Chinese restaurant to turn to when I crave comfort food, and let me tell you folks: I am happy to have found this place. The missus and I got take-out this time, so I didn't have the time to really take in the scenery within the restaurant. I plan to come back, so I will have to update with more information! The woman I spoke to at the checkout counter, however, was absolutely charming and made the whole experience. She suggested we try the pickled cabbage, which I had not sampled before. It was surprisingly tasty. The tang of the vinegar along with the crunchy texture of

I thought we had found the best Chinese restaurant ever over in Richardson, just east of 75, but Lucky Bamboo topped it. A friend of my daughter recommended Lucky Bamboo over a year ago and since we just moved closer to it, we decided to give it a try.
We ordered Hot and Sour soup, Egg Drop soup, vegetable egg rolls, Kung Po Chicken (spicy), and Sweet and Sour Pork. Additionally, the sweet lady helping my husband with the pickup order gave him a generous sample of the appetizer, Pickle Cabbage, which was so good…not spicy unless you eat the jalapeños.
We tasted each other’s soup and shared

I have been living in Dallas for 24 years, and searching for a good Chinese
restaurant with no success. Some were simply way overpriced for what I received. I FINALLY FOUND LUCKY BAMBOO ON Coit Rd, between Beltline and Arapaho! Everything I ordered was outstanding!

We were having a work potluck and I was too busy to cook the night before. I planned to do a platter from a chain restaurant (grilled chicken nugget tray) but they quoted me 138 minutes to prepare and I needed something in an hour! I called several places and no one could help. When I called Lucky Bamboo the sweet lady who answered didn't even hesitate before saying...."yes I can have a huge order of egg rolls and dipping sauce for you in 15 minutes". Fast forward to the potluck! People were asking me left and right where I got the egg rolls because they were the "best they

Really great place. Extremely clean and very modern inside. Great service. Was nice to have the small chip appetizer which we went expecting. I had the jumbo shrimp and broccoli and it's nice to have shrimp that was actually jumbo. Very fresh. Gave just enough rice. We definitely would come here again.

I live very close to a lot of Chinese restaurants in Plano. My Mom suggested we go to Lucky Bamboo on Beltline and Coit. It was clean, and empty *we did go early; however, while we were there, at least 7 people came in to pick up orders! It was DELICIOUS! The portions were HUGE, I have enough left overs for at least two-three meals. Between the three of us that went to eat, we had wonton soup, which was the best I have had in a very long time, egg drop soup, egg rolls, Shrimp and lobster sauce, Chicken and broccoli and Chicken Lo Mein with extra vegetables. The food was very fresh and cooked

We order on a weekly basis from this restaurant and tonight, Alice made it wonderful again! The restaurant is still maintaining the upmost in safety and the food is outstanding. Please support this local restaurant, on Coit near Arapaho in Richardson. They deserve the applauds and compliments in service, food, and portions - all at a reasonable price!

My order became very complicated because Lucky Bamboo does not have a Grub Hub account. There was mass confusion from the driver, grub hub, and lucky bamboo on who was supposed to pay for the food. I paid Grub Hub, Lucky Bamboo wanted the driver to pay them but refused because he thinks Grub Hub needed to pay Lucky Bamboo. I have been on hold with Grub Hub for the last 30 minutes... well past the scheduled delivery time.

I really wanted to love the food, but I just didn't. I ordered the orange beef, green beans, egg rolls, and crab rangoon.

Orange Beef - 1/5 stars. It was not tasty and I felt like it could've been cooked longer. I ate a few pieces and put it in the fridge to try again the next day, thinking that maybe my taste buds were off, but the next day, the dish had turned gray. Nope. Disgusting.

Green beans - 3/5 stars. Not bad. Not great either.

Egg rolls - 3/5 stars. Same as the green beans.

Crab rangoon - 4/5 stars. These were the best part of my meal - very tasty. I'd order those

This little Chinese place in a neighborhood Strip Center has changed hands a few times and has most recently become the Lucky Bamboo. if you want the cliff notes version of this review suffice it to say bet this is the best version of this restaurant so far.

Walking in you receive a warm greeting from the new owner named Alice. One thing that makes this place is that Alice cares.

I started out my meal with an order of crab rangoons and some egg rolls. Both were very good and then I moved on true shrimp fried rice and orange shrimp. Both were exquisitely delicious!

They have only been open
