Second time eating Russo’s pizza. First time went well and the pizza is good, the pizza itself is probably 4 stars but the service was so slow. I ordered over the phone and was told 35-40 minutes. I showed up after 30 min and was told one pizza was ready but we were just waiting on my medium cheese pizza, which I proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes for and by the time I got it, my first pizza was cold.

Omg this is THE BEST NY PIZZA I’ve had in Fl. I couldn’t stop saying “mmm” as I ate it. The cheese, the sauce- Str8 NY!!! The chicken wings tasted like they were made at home. They weren’t my favorite but it was real interesting how “made from scratch” they taste. I was visiting family down this way when I tried Russo’s and will make sure I get a box when I come back. This place is one of those places like “i don’t wanna drive to Ft. laud. But- wait a min…. I can stop by Russo’s while I’m there!” And that will motivate me. Mmmmmmm!!!!!

I came across this restaurant by luck. Host was super accommodating. I ordered 2 pizza pies. Host offered me a few garlic rolls “on the house” Definitely and good selling point, because my next order will definitely include garlic rolls!!!! Pizzas were great! Well brick baked! So I have been going here for a couple years. However what made this experience different was what we ordered. Its not a menu item but we found it thanks to the group my wife and I were seated near. The mythical Chicago style pizza. Never have I seen my wife's face lit up like it did for food. Mind you she's not highly motivated by food so this was a surprise to me. We will definitely be going again and ordering this. It was heaven.
