In 1963, Ronald T. Snow, Sr. came to Saginaw from the Detroit area. As a licensed funeral director he worked at the Waier Funeral Home for six years. In 1967 he and his wife Felicia purchased the Waier Funeral Home and renamed it the Snow Funeral Home. Trying to do something new, the Snow Funeral Home was the first funeral home in the saginaw area to provide background music in the funeral home.

Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.

My mother recently passed away, and the funeral was handled by Snow Funeral Home. Ron Snow and his staff were so kind, so respectful and very helpful. As they guided us through the decision-making process, they were professional, yet warm and caring.
My mom was very sick before she died, and I wondered if I would have an open casket. But, I was so grateful for the way they made my mom look which was so natural and beautiful.
I highly recommend Snow Funeral Home for your loved ones.

Brandon at Snow Funeral Home did a wonderful job with my Dad's funeral. He helped us through the difficult process and treated my mother, siblings and I with the utmost respect. He didn't try to hard sell us on the most expensive choices either. They contacted the state, my Dad's employer etc so we didn't have to. It was a huge help when there are so many other details we had to worry about. My Dad had a beautiful send off.
