In 2016 Mark and Andrea took care of our family when we were dealing with the death of my little sister Melissa. They are compassionate and wonderful to work with. They are professional and very helpful. The services at their facility are made personal to match the personality of the person who passed away. There is veil of shock that comes with the sudden loss of a loved one. Mark was so kind and attentive to this. He made calls, guided me with appropriate phone numbers and was incredibly compassionate in such a difficult time. We were from out of town and I am so blessed my friend found this funeral home to care for my sons final journey.

Mark showed a lot of empathy and didn't try to pressure us into a lot of things we couldn't afford and didn't want. Still, he answered all of our questions and created a memorial for our daughter that gave us and those close to her closure. He even delivered the eulogy that I wrote, because I couldn't. I can't say enough good things about Mark and Andrea. They were a guiding light through a difficult time.

This is by far the best run funeral home in the Midwest. From visitation to burial, no detail is overlooked. Our mom passed away recently. Part of her journey involved being moved from another state. Mark answered the call late in the evening, but answering the call means something entirely more. Both Mark and his wife Andrea exhibited a caring and compassionate sense of purpose that carried with them on how they approached their work, and how they interacted with our family.

I recently lost my mother, unexpectedly, and had no idea where to go from there. I googled funeral homes in Saginaw and just called around. Not a single funeral home expressed their sympathy, they just simply quoted me their prices and that was that. Then I called Fischer Family Funeral and Mark said he was sorry for my loss and made me feel more comfortable right from the get-go. I told Mark I was just calling around and I would get back to him. He called me 4 hours later and asked how my search was going and if I had any other questions. I was still overwhelmed and not ready to make a decision
