Services
We are locally owned Funeral Home serving the Tri-City Area, and many other outstanding areas. We can handle appointments in our facility or in your home whatever is convenient to discuss your funeral needs. Our chapel is very spacious to handle large families or our smaller chapel for those smaller settings.
David Brietzke graduated from Rogers City High School. He attended Wayne State University College of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1970. He has 46 years of service in the funeral industry. He owned and operated several funeral homes in Rogers City, Alpena and Posen, Michigan. He is current member of St. John Amelith Lutheran Church and currently serving as an Elder for his Church.

Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).
