Did you know that our current location in the heart of Pleasant Valley was one of the first exclusive boarding facilities in Little Rock? It was in 1978 that Dr. Hartford Hamilton purchased the building and converted it into a veterinary hospital. After over three decades as a legendary one doctor practice, Dr. Allison and Dr. Brent Koonce joined the PVVC family.
I have four rescue labs and we LOVE this place! Their prices are from a different decade which I so need with four! They have the most friendly, kind and caring vets and staff! They are great with challenging personalities and dogs with special needs-separation anxiety, fear aggression, etc-like my twins who require extreme patience!
We will be open 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. We will have more updates to come as we get closer to Monday. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page for any changes or updates. This could result in detours and traffic delays so make sure to plan appropriately. PVVC will be open for regular business hours on Saturday 7:30 am - 12:00 pm.
Ronin is a 10-year-old male Japanese Mastiff, and he has been a patient at PVVC since December of 2020. We have the pleasure of seeing him on a regular basis for k-laser treatments to help with joint discomfort. He is a staff favorite for his gentle nature and perfect manners.
He is a very good boy for his treatments, and whenever he is finished he knows the routine & will go right up to the reception desk to do a good boy sit and wait for his treat.A true gentleman! Dr. Koonce (Brent and Allison) always answer all of our questions and were very compassionate when one of our 4 legged friends had to cross the rainbow.

Once a year your pet will receive a complete and thorough physical examination by a veterinarian. During the exam all body systems are checked from nose to toes. Ears, eyes, skin, teeth, mouth, heart, lungs and more are all examined. For dogs in Arkansas a heartworm and intestinal parasite check is performed annually.

Friendly staff, no matter who you're talking to. Every time I've called, regardless of the reason, I've received patience, answered questions, and kindness. I've seen 2 of the vets so far for my dog and they have both been quick to listen to what I have to say before telling me what they think is going on. I've been visiting this clinic since early 2021 and I've only had positive experiences.

I love it here. I love it here. I love it here. We have been going to this Vet clinic for about 3 years now and we have never had a bad experience. Not once! The staff is sweet. All of the Doctors are great and truly care about our dogs. Prices are fair. Office is clean. Appointments are efficient. It’s the only vet clinic I’ve taken my dogs to where I have complete trust in every person on the staff! Highly highly recommend!

We’ve been taking Tiger there for about a year and Chloe since we got her and they are absolutely wonderful! Chloe is still a rambunctious puppy and we had to board her last minute when I had to have surgery. I’m so thankful PVVC was able to do so when the daycare canceled last minute. The staff is wonderful and professional! Will definitely use them again!
