Dr. Kate Steele is the owner of Steele Dentistry. She grew up in Wray, Colorado, with her older brother and younger sister. She and her husband, Jeff, have one 3-year-old son, Carson. My wife and me have been going to Dr. Steele for about 5 years now, and have found her and her associates to be wonderful practitioners, very professional, caring and positive. I have moderate anxiety with dental procedures and generally need anesthesia for work beyond cleanings, but she has been able to help reduce my need for this and my overall anxiety with dentist. She has done crowns, filings, and other procedures for me, all coming out great each time. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a dentist, especially if you have anxiety with a dental procedures like me.

I had a crown come off after a couple years. Back when I got the crown it came with a 5-year warranty. When I came in to get it fixed the doctor told me it what it would cost to replace (I think it was $1200 w/insurance). I was confused and asked if it was under warranty. Without hesitating the doctor looked me in the eye and said "no". I asked how long the warranty for crowns are and she said "usually just a couple years". Just had my fillings done there. I was so comfortable and they made sure I was okay at all times. Dr. Raleigh has an amazing bedside manner and made me feel genuinely cared for. Des(spelling?) was great and I really had a good experience. They have a “comfort menu” and I felt decked out in my weighted blanket and soft blanket during the drilling, filling etc. Never expected to say that about a dentist experience!
10/10! Brianne at reception was warm and helpful. Rachel the dental hygienist was fantastic, very personable and did the most thorough cleaning I’ve ever had. Dr. Raleigh

Great team here. After coming to this clinic I completely left my dentist of 8 years, brought my children over from Children's Hospital Dental Clinic. I did not realize how much I settled for satisfactory care when I could have been receiving care that exceeded all expectations.

I love this dental office! I'm a high-stress patient. Dr. Steele and her team go out of their way to provide a positive experience. I am so grateful to have the option of sedation for my dental work. I have gone from terrified to sit in a dental chair to be able to relax for exams and routine cleaning. From the moment you walk in the door, everyone works hard to make you feel welcome, answer your questions, and figure out insurance. Highly recommend!

Thanks for being so patient with our son today. I'm sure it is not easy to have to extract teeth from a kiddo. I'm glad you took the time to try and make him as comfortable as possible. Before he went to bed I asked him if he wanted some pain reliever and he said no his teeth actually felt better now. He gave me a big hug and said thank you. Always warm and welcoming front desk staff. Hygienists are helpful, informative and fun! Love that all staff has a sense of humor, including the providers. I can't say enough about Dr. Steele. Dr. Steele is skilled, thorough, detailed, and gentle. She clearly cares about her patients and their comfort. Unfortunately for me, I've had quite a few visits over the past year, but I can honestly say that staff has made the visits as pleasant as possible. Excellent service and excellent care!

Dr. Randell is completely unprofessional, condescending and began work on my mouth before the numbing had a chance to kick in. Then proceeded to tell me that "I am not the norm, and 95% of patients wouldnt have reacted the way I did" and that "my pain tolerance is extremely low". Made me feel dumb and uncomfortable after I spent $650 to get a crown fixed. He also called me "sweetie" which is gross and unprofessional. Will be switching dental practices ASAP.

I'm so glad I found Steel Dentistry! Their staff was super friendly and supportive. Alexis, Alyssa, and Dr. Lisa were all amazing too! They were kind, gentle, and didn't have even a hint of judgement at some of the shortcomings of my dental hygiene. They have really great technology X-rays were an absolute breeze, and their chairs are super… comfortable. Their logistics staff got my insurance figured out super quick, and helped me get appointments situated very efficiently. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this dental practice, keep up the awesome work!

Shocked to see any poor reviews about Steele Dentistry. My husband and I both visit this office and have never had anything but positive results. I had some serious issues to work through and was in tears the first time I saw Dr Steele. She met my tears with kindness and compassion. She's been working with me for years and I will only see her - no question . Dr Steele is an amazing dentist!

The staff is very professional and transparent regarding what they're doing, what they see, and what should be done. I learned I need to have cavity fillings replaced, which at first I thought was something that lasted forever but after showing pictures to me, it totally made sense.

I love doc Steele and the girls at the front desk. Doc Steele gave me her cell phone once and told me to call over the weekend if I needed to after a procedure. And, although I didn't need to, I bet she would have answered :) The front desk is always over the top friendly and helpful, even when they are busy. I love the iPad paperwork! The hygentists and dental assistants are great with my kids. My 6 year old loves coming to the dentist. They have been very patient with my reluctant and scared 4 year old. Thanks for putting up with us!

These guys did a bad job on my kid, they couldn't get an X-Ray so instead of getting it done correctly they skipped the redo X-Ray. So we went to a better dentist, and found out that he had two cavities which Steele missed and one of those cavities became so bad between visits, that the whole tooth had to be removed. Now we have a toothless kid.
Thanks for nothing Steele! Horrible job, we'll never come back.

First, to eliminate any thought of bias, I'm a regular on Yelp with reviews and checkins.
I must say I am EXTREMELY impressed. I have some moderate and costly dental issues. The options and scenarios were presented with care, understanding and sincerity. Katie and the staff were very sympathetic to my situation.
I went to 4 offices before finding her and there is now I finally found my dentist. Kate is a sincerely genuine person and dentist. I didn't feel pressured, rushed or blown off. She took the time to answer all 100 of my questions :) The staff all around is friendly and great

This place is definitely about making money, and not about your general dental health. Be careful of what "add-ons" they give you during your appointment (including xrays more than once a year when insurance only covers them one time per year). They try to upsell you on many different tools- mouth guards, fluoride treatments, etc. The place is beautiful, clean, nice but staff is rotating and some seemed inexperienced. I made an appointment and showed up, but they didn't have the appointment. They tried to accommodate me, but that was the only time I had available. I need

Kate Steele and her staff are amazing. They do a great job of explaining costs that are and are not covered by insurance, to the best of their knowledge. Of course, it's not always possible for them to say for sure what the ultimate out-of-pocket expense will be, but I have always found that they err on the side of caution and I often find that they have over estimated the amount that I needed to pay.
