Started in 1955 and representing 90% of the skilled nursing and post-acute care centers in the state, NCHCFA is the state's oldest and largest association of post-acute and long term care providers. NCHCFA is dedicated to supporting its members as they provide quality care to North Carolina's elderly residents.
Services
These core values define the collective qualities of our team and inherently represent the foundation for our Association. Our dedication is matched only by the steadfast support we provide to those behind the care at Skilled Nursing Facilities and Post-acute Centers in North Carolina. With ever-evolving challenges and regulatory hurdles, the goal line is always moving, but our purpose has never changed.
There are very important people working inside of each and every skilled nursing facility. The individuals celebrated here characterize the best of what being a caregiver in North Carolina is all about. The NCHCFA Annual Awards program provides the opportunity to acknowledge front line unlicensed personnel who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the long term care profession.
Take the Heroes Pledge today and join NCHCFA! NCHCFA will immediately begin recognizing your 2021 membership pledge weekly to our decision makers and membership so they know you support our long term care heroes during this difficult time! If you have any additional questions regarding Expo 2021 or would like more information, please call the Association office at 919-782-3827.
NCHCFA is committed to helping long term care professionals enhance their development through a variety of educational seminars, webinars, and two annual conferences. Our informative and timely educational sessions provide the latest updates in a number of important substantive areas and enable skilled nursing facility personnel to grow in their careers and expand their skills and knowledge in the long term care profession.
The North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA) is committed to promoting quality health care to the residents served by our member facilities, while pioneering growth, development and innovation in skilled nursing benefits in North Carolina.

We provide an array of services to our members, including a weekly newsletter (UPDATE), guidance with state and federal rules and regulatory issues, data gathering and analysis, relevant legislative affairs, Medicare and Medicaid policy, continuing education opportunities, and a communications network devoted to the most current developments in long term care.
