As mentioned in our Mission Statement, our goal is to provide a loving, cheerful environment where each child will be happy, have a healthy self-esteem and develop a lifelong love of learning. As a staff, we have devised a set of goals for each age level. At our two year old level, we welcome the children into a play group setting, where our main focus is on the social and emotional development of the young child.

Our staff will provide a well-planned and prepared variety of activities where the children are free to explore, create, play and learn many new things. In keeping with the goals of the Kirk Children's Center, the program for all of our children is geared to teach the children to explore, discuss, create, communicate, interact, question, problem solve, think, reason and continue the development of social and emotional skills.
Services
We believe in developing the whole child by creating a loving and cheerful environment where each child will be happy, develop a healthy self esteem and develop a lifelong goal of learning. To accomplish this, a creative curriculum will provide age and developmentally appropriate child-oriented activities.
Each week every class meets with Miss Brenda for a special time of learning music. During this time, kids will learn hand motions, dances, and age appropriate instruments and will perform for parents twice a year. Praise and Worship is a time for all of the classes to come together and sing worship songs and dance.
The Kirk has always been blessed with wonderful volunteers who help coordinate and participate in fundraisers, special activities, service projects, etc. that promote fellowship among teachers and families. The Kirk welcomes your participation in any of our activities and we also welcome your input!
Families are encouraged to call or email for a tour/and/ or to receive additional information. 919-469-4895 or bholladay@kirkofkildaire.org. Children currently enrolled in the Children's Center will be given first priority to register for the following school year. Kirk church members, siblings and alumni siblings will be allowed to register after current students have registered.

My daughter has attended the Kirk for 2 years now and we LOVE this preschool. Kirk allows their teachers to take good care of little kids, they let them hug the kids when they fall down, and care for the kids when they are sad. They truly love my kids and what more could you want from a preschool? The focus of the school is fun, with academics mixed in, because kids learn best when you make learning fun. We will be sending our youngest child to preschool there next year until kindergarten. I have nothing but great things to say about this school.
