244 unit residential project with retail and parking. Due to the topography of the site, the seven levels will be different at each street elevation. 4 story wood frame apartment project with 268 units, 8,000 SF clubhouse, precast concrete parking structure and two pedestrian sky bridges. Three and four story wood-framed apartment and loft project built in two phases with an adjacent five level steel framed parking structure.
Isolation of the bearing studs by length allows for a blend of stud grades providing for reduction in cost. To date, no projects have experienced placement of stud in the wrong location. By eliminating the cavity framing, 40% of the manufactured parts are eliminated and specific nailing and hangers are no longer required.
SCA has extensively used Revit since the beginning of Revit Structure. We were one of the original beta testers with Autodesk for Revit Structure. Our concrete Revit models are constantly noted by our clients to be among the best they have worked with. Currently over 90% of the projects produced in our office are drawn 100% in Revit.
