Because of the uniqueness of titanium and its fabrication and use, Titanium Engineers regularly provides assistance to our customers to assist them in the design and engineering of their components and assemblies to insure that products are designed correctly and within the proper specifications of the materials.
We are able to process material to obtain a variety of properties to suit your specified application. Typically our products' end use applications are those involving high pressure, high temperature, and/or highly corrosive environments. We also have specially engineered products for racing, marine, oil & gas, and other commercial/industrial markets.
Ti 6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy (UNS R56400) is the most widely used titanium grade. It is a two phase + titanium alloy, with aluminum as the alpha stabilizer and vanadium as the beta stabilizer. Ti 6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy is principally used in the annealed condition. As in other titanium alloys, Ti 64 alloy's corrosion resistance is based on the existence of a consistent and continuous oxide layer which is formed spontaneously upon exposure to oxygen.
Titanium Engineers has been instrumental in the development of techniques to improve the ductility of highly alloyed duplex steels such as 25Cr Duplex also known as Super Duplex Steel. We are able to manufacture large diameter, heavy walled tubes, and obtain superior charpy impact test values through proprietary post-processing methods.
Titanium and other alloys produced by Titanium Engineers can be available in a variety of forms to suit the customer's specific needs. Titanium Engineers manufactures and distributes product in bar forms which may be hot rolled (smaller diameters) or hot forged (larger diameters). We also manufacture seamless pipe and tube products in titanium and super duplex alloy to suit customer's needs.
