Muay Thai is a martial art that was developed on the battlefields of Thailand during a time of warfare in South East Asia and is practiced now for fitness, self-defense, and combat sports. Muay Thai has gained a lot of popularity, but was always lumped in as "Kickboxing", which it is a completely different art.
Though they are similar in nature (they both use their hands and their feet) Muay Thai is vastly different. In Muay Thai, we not only use our hands and our feet, we also use our elbows and our knees as weapons to strike with. This not only gives you more options for self-defense tools but forces you to use your whole body during training sessions.

All class at our Muay Thai Ventura program are subject to change at anytime & are by appointment only! Q: How much is it? A: This is a very common question and it really varies depending on which program you are inquiring about.

Just a few things that your child can gain from our Kids Muay Thai program, along with your child being given great life skills, they will also be taken through a very fun and active class! Our Kids Muay Thai program runs through a structured curriculum to develop all of the tools necessary to make our kids successful in life, in an environment that is conductive to learning & building their future.
An annual Muay Thai & Kickboxing tournament takes place on the East coast, this year it took place in New York City. We took it upon ourselves to fundraise to send one of our new Muay Thai Ventura fighters to the tournament. How new? Less than a year new. Now, it's not like this person didn't put in tremendous time and dedication into training, they definitely did.

One of Ventura's best!! I love this academy . Great structured curriculum to help each students advancement. Great for beginners as well as anyone with previous martial arts training. Very friendly staff. Kru Jonathan has done a lot of work to establish this great academy and continues to work hard to leave his footprint in the Muay Thai community as well as in our community here in Ventura.

Best Muay Thai school! If you are looking for a traditional real Muay Thai, this is the school for you. Pu'u Muay Thai has a Amazing Kru and coaches! Great family style atmosphere, students and equipment. Pu'u Muay Thai is for everyone! From champion Muay Thai fighters to a student looking for a great workout.

The greatest thing for my daughter is the kids class that is offered here and taught by coach Jonathan puu his expertise and knowledge he teaches these children is absolutely astounding, he takes his time with each child and the patients he shows is boundless, The environment that Coach Jonathan has created is welcoming and so is everyone else that comes to train. Everyone is there to learn, a no pressure environment best decision ever made
