And, each time your foot hits the ground, your legs have to absorb 2.5-3 times your bodyweight. However, there are some key things you can do to reduce the risk of injury. We have put together two circuit training classes especially for distance runners, to strengthen key stabilizers in the feet, shins, and hips to improve running form and reduce the stress on your bodies.
Run at a reduced bodyweight with the first publicly available LightSpeed Lift in Michigan. The LightSpeed Lift support system uses elastic bands to reduce bodyweight by up to 35 pounds. It connects only at the sides of the hips to stay out of your way and allow freedom of movement. The system connects at the sides of the hip, providing freedom of movement while reducing the pounding of each step.
We will break down your running form to show you the biomechanical causes of running injuries, as well as teach you corrective exercises and running form drills to make you stronger than ever! Our staff have performed running analysis for over a decade. We have worked alongside professional track coaches to look at both the mechanics of injury as well as their effect on running performance.

I am a long time massage therapist and avid strength trainer with chronic left shoulder issues. I saw Earl Wenk today and he did exactly what I wanted - he focused on my shoulder for 45 minutes with a variety of techniques that far outweigh any PT appt I’ve ever had. He used multiple massage and stretch approaches that allowed me to feel relief and balance. He also took time to give me a few at home exercises to help alleviate my discomfort and imbalances. I will definitely be back! Thanks Earl!

Earl was very knowledgeable and understanding. He explained all his techniques well. After the sports massage (with stretching) he gave suggested stretches and strengthening exercises for the problem spot and surrounding areas. Great place for athletes/runners. Great services for the price, highly recommend.
