It is the most authentic Italian food with great atmosphere, wonderful servers! I highly recommend anyone who wants GREAT AUTHENTIC Italian food to try it! The Chef even come to the table to offer specials and see how our meal tasted - to make sure everything was great! Stopped in with a friend for an early dinner, on the way back to Miami from a day trip to Sarasota.
The food and service were both EXCELLENT. Best lasagna I've ever had. What can I say about this restaurant, other than it is perfection! Mino is the most wonderful host and chef. Let him make a recommendation for you, you won't regret it! There is not anything on this menu that isn't deliciousness.

This is a great friendly place with wonderful food and good prices. It is not as fancy as the other Italian places on the Avenue but it is friendlier and the food is every bit as good.
The linguine with clams was just sublime.
The wine list is reasonable; much more reasonable than the other places.
Our server is actually from Italy and knowledgeable about the dishes.
We were having a bit of a challenge deciding what to order in terms of a bottle of wine and he brought us three samples!
Eat here! In short; great food great prices great staff.

Went here with a large group of girls (like over 15 people) we tried many of the pastas as well as a meat dish or two. The food was absolutely delicious, the servers didn't really check in on us at all which isn't the biggest deal. Yet something to note especially when you have a large group. The food comes off authentic and the place is very cozy.

The reviews did not lie, and the Trattoria did not disappoint. Stopped by here while visiting from Orlando. The authentic Italian vibe here is bursting off the walls, the customer service was wonderful from all staff members, the food was amazing (even the little bread that comes out first). Their lunch special of 1/2 salad 1/2 panini & soup is a GREAT deal! The portions are good sizes too. Definitely recommend and will try to come back & visit.

A quaint little Italian eatery down in Venice. It's cozy and comfortable inside with the majority of seating outside. The servers are very polite, professional, and attentive. The bread baskets are warm, fresh, and oh so good. To our disappointment both main courses lacked any flavor. I would go back to try the pizza, that looked pretty good. But two out of two main dishes were uneventful unimpressive.

OH MY GOODNESS.....this establishment is fantastic! The hospitality from all the employees is fantastic......you start off with fresh bread and tomatoes with some olive oil.....then the FOOD ....we had pizza (one am anchovies and capers) and the pizza did NOT disappoint. Fresh crust, stringy mozy cheese, and basil leaves on top of the pepperoni 🍕.....I wrote on my receipt I was going to give a 5 star review & here it is....EAT HERE NOW

Disclosure is that I received takeout from this restaurant. That being said, for the West coast of FL, you really couldn't ask for more. If you want a regular NY/NJ pizza, order the "margarita", which is the same as regular pizza, but they throw a few basil leaves on it. I ordered a calzone to see how it compared to NY/ NJ, and it got close. Ham too concentrated and pizza dough needs more oil, as it's too dry, but again I'm comparing to the real thing. For here as compared to the real thing, it stands up. They also included an order of toasted bread with a side of canned chopped tomatoes. Gotta
