Our programs emphasize "intelligence in motion" as opposed to relying on sheer strength, superior speed and flexibility. To-Shin Do (modern ninjutsu) is based on science and natural movement.
Core scientific components include psychological warfare (for example, leading an attacker into a trap by manipulating their intentions to harm you), the physics of timing, balance, angling, leverage, gravity (you will learn to use gravity as an ally rather than work hard to defy it), and techniques for using the musculoskeletal system against itself.

From day one in our level one program your child will practice how to win against the 12 most common attacks likely to be thrown at good people by dangerous aggressors. Our 12 defensives were chosen based on interviews of law enforcement officers, security professionals, emergency room doctors (each defense is taught at an age appropriate level in some ways adults and youth experience violence and aggression the same and in others they don't).

1. Kali is a practical self-defense system born from the ancient combative arts of the Philippines. Kali is a combative system that finds its roots among the warring tribes of the Philippines. In its modern form it is a practical self-defense system that teaches practitioners versatile skill sets that allow them to defend themselves with any weapon (stick, knife, empty hand and flexible weapons).
Silat is not a competitive martial art, it is a martial art designed to keep you safe and alive during the most extreme of circumstances. Silat was used in the past by Malay warriors to protect South East Asian empires from invaders seeking to control spice routes. Thus the people designed an art that was capable of allowing them to fend off invaders from various continents.

Do NOT sign up at this dojo. Their cancellation policy is ridiculous and they aren't willing to compromise. If I see one more charge for 185 come out of my account I'll go to the ends of the earth to make sure this place loses business.

I signed up to try their program and my work schedule changed so I couldn't attend classes. They wouldn't let me cancel. I offered to pay a cancellation fee and they said there wasn't one. Months later with no notice, no bills at all, I get a call from a collections agency demanding over $500. This is all over a gym membership, which I'm not using because I can't attend the classes anyway.
Also their classes consist of reciting information from their website and a series of horribly childish activities like sommersaults. Most of their students are teenage or preteen boys

Elevo Dynamics is a one of a kind all encompassing place of learning. Elevo Dynamics is unique because you learn actual life skills and self defense techniques from martial arts systems that in some cases are thousands of years old with an unbroken linage.
I would recommend Elevo Dynamics to all ages. Whenever you are training you will always find something applicable to your life. Sometimes you may find yourself surprised by what you learn. We signed our daughter up based on recommendations. The ninjutsu part is not the problem. The administrative side of things is the problem. It is a disaster and everyone you talk to you get a different answer on things. In May I spoke with one of the girls at the front desk about how my daughter would not be here the entire month of June and July because she would be having surgery. She said no problem, we will put the account on hold. I assumed she did since no payment came out in June. It wasn't until the end of July I noticed a payment came out for July and then another payment in August

My boys have been learning Ninjutsu at Elevo Dynamics for 3 years now and they Love Hakim and his qualified staff of trainers. They have more confidence in themselves and have grown in their physical abilities! This is a great martial art that not only teaches self defense but also focuses on discipline and character.

The martial arts classes are top-notch! Always a very encouraging experience, regardless of which instructor is there. The gym facilities are extremely clean and well-maintained, and the amount of equipment means that you can mix up your workouts in an endless variety of ways to meet whatever goals you may have. Super family-friendly atmosphere!
