I recently moved to Washington and hadn't visited a hair salon since the pandemic started and my color was a mess. Even before that, when I was seeing a hairdresser every month, I noticed that my ends kept getting darker and unbalanced. I have a burgundy violet color that I love but was getting harder and harder to achieve because the ends were darkening and of course, the past 13 months of doing my own hair didn't help that situation any. Lynda was the only hairdresser that addressed the problem by recommending that we strip out the dark ends and start over. The results were amazing. I finally

My hair was in need of being fixed after I had gone years with doing the bare minimum of using color from Sally's in an attempt to match my natural color. Mariam did a fantastic job! She is very detail oriented and had a solid plan from the initial consultation. I trusted her plan and was happy with the outcome! It was amazing, the consultation was nice and informative about what is to be expected of how my hair would come out. I had already tried bleaching my hair and luckily She said she is able to fix it. I have black hair and I wanted to go a pastel purple color, Mariam informed me that it would be a lot of maintenance to keep it up and if I was ready for that, I was not. She let me know what colors would be best if I wanted little maintenance on it and we decided of blue and purple hair! She even got me a Starbucks drink and asked if I wanted anything else while the bleaching process was happening

This was a big hair transition for me! I've never done a fun color before. I've stuck to browns and blonde highlights in the past... I love this hair color, I never saw myself with blue/black hair and I'm so happy I did this! Mariam made sure I was very comfortable with my color, answered so many of my questions and did an overall amazing job. She's very professional and fun!

I see Catya to get my eyelashes done and I can’t say anything bad about my experiences at all!! I’ve been seeing Catya for about 7 months now and i absolutely love the way she does my lashes. She does a really great job making sure I am comfortable and nothing is bothering me. She takes her time and makes sure you get exactly what you want. I just switched from getting classics to volume lashes and I am obsessed!! They are perfect for the holiday season! I have seen other girls for my lashes but Catya does the best lashes i’ve ever had. I went visit Erik (@erikelite) to get my natural dark black/brown hair dyed to Ash Blonde. I did two session to achieve this look, since I don't intent to fry my hair in one session. My hair is thick, wavy and takes forever to turn. So I was glad he was patient my hair.

All of the stylists seem to communicate well on the floor and breed a real sense of comradeship. I saw a stylist named Mariam and they really sought out what my hair goals were. Once we had a firm heading they explained how realistically those goals could be achieved. Pricing is upfront and I left feeling truly beautiful and glowing, what more could one ask.

I have been going back and forth with Galina for several years now. I do have a hairdresser whom I go to since I was a kid and always feel like I’m cheating on her. I'm really upset with my experience, the lady LaRae was my stylist, I reviewed her photos and she seemed to do a really nice job but in my experience she was rude and my hair color was quite choppy. In the end had to spend way to much and now my hair is damaged because I had to fix it.

I hate to give such a bad review on this place because of one person but if you decide to go here make sure to do your research. I had LaRae as my hair stylist for the first time. She wasn't very friendly, she was talking to other hair stylist while doing my hair. She seemed very distracted and like she didn't want to even do my hair. I had told her I'm getting my hair done because I'm getting married this month, she said "oh it's going to be beautyful " " I'm really excited for how it's going to look" she did not take before and after pictures

Mariam is a true artist who is so passionate about what she does. I have super dark hair and she spent the time to get it to the perfect lightness while keeping it healthy. Its the most beautiful mutlo dimensional color. We chatted for 5 hours and she's so funny and sweet. I feel like I left with a new stylist and a new friend!

I searched Yelp, found many salon options near me with decent ratings and then noted some allowed for online reservations... bing bang boom, I got lucky and found a spot on a Saturday night a couple of hours after searching. The confirmation of my appt was almost instant too.
I met Mariam and she was spot on what I needed this evening. She asked lots of questions about how I like my hair, what I use on it, what I am looking for, etc. I'm a low maintenance hair person but still appreciated all her ideas and suggestions for how to work with what I have. We did a cut

I had been looking for a hairstylist that really knew color and could tell me exactly what I should do just by lookin at my skin tone! After seeing a girls hair at my tanning salon, I HAD to go see Lynda at Parkwest. I am so glad I did because after seeing her twice, my hair color looks better than it ever had before! Her eye for color and style is fantastic and I never feel hurried or rushed. She takes her time and has great attention to detail. This girl knows her stuff. Ask for Lynda Jameson, you won't regret it!

A perfectly calm and welcoming salon full of experienced staff who are both incredibly friendly and quick to put any worries to rest. Although my girlfriend and I's experience here is limited, (we are new) I am certain we are now regulars and will continue to have nothing but great things to say. (@Mariam). First off, I have to say I hesitate writing this review, as I'm afraid Miriam will get too popular and it'll be difficult to schedule an appointment with in the future! Miriam is the quite possibly the best colorist I've ever encountered (and I've been around!) I needed to have my hair trimmed and colored, along with some corrective work. I couldn't get an appointment at my regular salon, so I took a chance after reading the Yelp reviews for Parkwest Studio. Miriam CAME IN ON HER DAY OFF to do my hair on short notice. Who does that?? Miriam does. And she didn't rush

Lynda at Parkwest Studio is a hair goddess. She's patient, creative and one of the most talented stylists in Vancouver. She has actually told me "No" when I've made a request. That's exactly what you want in a stylist: honesty! She may tell me "no" occasionally but she always has a solution up her sleeve to address my hair-dreams. And I LOVE MY HAIR! She's fantastic with creativity so I don't walk out of Parkwest looking like every other 40-something in Vancouver. Hallelujah!

I come here to see Galina. I've been having her cut and color my hair for 15 years even while I was living in LA for several years. I have tried different stylists but always come back to her. She is a perfectionist and very reasonably priced compared to cuts I've gotten in Portland and LA.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Melissa is AMAZING at doing Brazilian Blowouts. I've been to other salons in the downtown Vancouver area and NOTHING compares to the experience with Melissa. If you're looking for superb results for this expensive service, I cannot recommend her enough.

Every time I have gone in for my haircut I am always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I always get the look I am going for and the prices are very manageable. These ladies really enjoy continuing their education to keep up with the newest styles. Very professional! Keep up the great work!

I was looking for a new salon after my second stylest left the one I was going to. I checked out yelp, and found Park West. It was closer to me, they had a nice and informative website, and it had a lot of good reviews with out it being from mostly one person.

I walked in and set up an appointment when I was at the farmers market. I was set up with Kelsey. I also had a chance to meet her while I was still there. She was very friendly.
