A perfect inspection. My real estate agent recommended an inspection company for my purchase. It was obvious she used this company regularly. The inspection was a waste of time and basically rubber stamped through. I will not be recommending her or that inspection company. I called Dobbs after looking at their website. This guy knows his stuff. I know this because I’m a builder myself but you still need an inspection to be sure. Well I called him after I closed on the home for a list and an inspectors opinion.

I never review but will this time because the service was so good, something that seems to be hard to find. With almost no notice Dobbs fit me in the schedule and walked through a house with me. We reviewed every aspect of the home so I could make a decision to purchase or not. He answered my questions as we went through the house.

Moving to Raleigh from another state I was not sure what to expect. I chose Dobbs Home Inspection because I could tell they understood homes and their experience was extensive. The owner has been a Project Manager with a large builder, a City of Raleigh Code Enforcement Inspector and a Storm Water PPP Division Manager. I simply did not find that kind of experience anywhere else. I found a lot of paid for badges and certificates with the other inspectors. The personal touch and education I got with my inspection was even better. I will go with Dobbs as I continue to invest in the Raleigh area.

Brian at Dobbs Home Inspection will let us schedule several inspections at once and I have always received the inspection report the same day of the inspection. I have had Dobbs Home inspection do the radon and pool inspections for us so there is never a third party to pay or schedule. Complete and easy to understand reports. I highly recommend Dobbs Home Inspection for your home inspection.

I contacted them for a Pre-Drywall inspection and other concerns about the construction. He was so helpful. I learned a lot and understand so much more about my home. He communicated with me and explained my home and what the builder will be doing next. This building process is not so difficult once explained in non technical terms. I am more comfortable speaking with the builder now but they are always busy. I recommend Dobbs Home Inspection. I will use them for the closing.

We would recommend Dobbs Home Inspection and plan to hire Brian in the future for checkups. We did our research and wanted an inspector with experience. Brian worked with our schedule and our agent as needed and with ease. He identified several items that helped us, they would have been an expensive surprise if not identified. Hiring Dobbs Home Inspection was a good value for certain.

If you’re a buyer, I cannot recommend Dobbs Home Inspection enough! From the beginning, Brian was both prompt and incredibly helpful to us. There was construction being done on the home the day of the inspection, and he went above and beyond to coordinate with the other vendors and the roofers to ensure a thorough inspection, despite the many obstacles in his way. He also took time at the end to give us an overview and answer our questions. His report was thorough and clear. And when we had follow up questions after the fact, he was extremely helpful!
