Welcome to hands on play, interaction with animals and real life experiences as well as lots of opportunity for imaginations to grow. Preparing children for the path and not the path for the child is part of our philosophy at Pathways Ranch. Pathways Ranch Preschool and Childcare is a family childcare setting where we give children age 6 weeks to 12 years the chance to have fun and learn as they experience each day in the small farm environment.
Our full inclusion program sets the stage for great peer relationships. Preschool curriculum is a result of over 30 years of experience in varied programs. Getting dirty, dressing up, exploring music and movement, special guests, and using your imagination are things kids do every day at the ranch.

Children's work is to play! They learn about their world through their hands, their eyes, exploring with their mouths, smelling things, listening and movement from the moment they enter the world. At Pathways Ranch we believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences which are both child centered and teacher directed.
Over 30 years experience in the field of Early Childhood Education has led to the creation of Pathways Ranch. Located on just over an acre in beautiful Auburn, California, Pathways Ranch is dedicated to providing an educational experience for all children in a small farm environment. Learning from the animals as well as the teachers who have units in Early Childhood Education is just a small part of what is offered at the ranch.
