Though there are great martial programs in the area, what makes us different, (other than being the area's premiere female-only martial arts leadership academy), we train as a lifestyle as our students are expected to exceed in the dojo, at home, school, work and in their communities. Additionally, we provide a positive atmosphere, empowering females in a family environment.
Description- Karate4Women Program is for adults. Women will learn both Korean and Japanese styled martial arts. Our curriculum emphasizes character building; community outreach, leadership skills and team work. Women will have the opportunity to learn in a comfortable and positive environment while developing confidence and healthier lifestyles.
Description: Pre-K(arate) is for 4-6 yr old girls. This program was created to introduce young girls to the basic skills, traditions and disciplines of karate with an age specific curriculum. Students will learn with emphasis on fitness, motor skills and confidence. Girls will have the opportunity to develop coordination, strength and personal safety skills through a variety of creative activities.

Can’t say enough positives about Sensai and her team of Instructors. There is such care/concern for the over-all well-being for the girls/young women. It truly is so much more than karate. Sensai and team cares about grades, community service, home-life, etc. They are really focused on developing strong and confident women beginning from pre-k to older adults.
My daughter was gone for about a month due to my schedule and every day for that month she wanted to know when she was going back to Sensai and the Dojo!

Great place we've now been taking our daughter to for almost 2 years. We were very impressed how quickly Monique Washington (the Sensei here) & here team adapted to Covid. 1st she/they shifted to all online & then when appropriate shifted back to hybrid in person options. Love the all female paradigm from 4ish y.o.s to adult.
