Bellingham Covenant Preschool is an established faith based preschool which has had the privilege of serving Whatcom County families for almost 40 years at Bellingham Covenant Church. We are faith based and emphasize appreciating and exploring God's creation, interacting with other children, and preparing kids for kindergarten. Currently we offer 3 classes for 3-5 year olds and love each child which steps through our door. If you are looking for school for your little one, we would love to meet you.
Services
I've had four children attend Bellingham Covenant Preschool. My main motivation for sending them there was so they could simply spend time with the school's wonderful teachers, Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Takemura. These two teachers create such a loving, ordered, calm and caring classroom, even as they are surrounded by 3 and 4 year olds!
Classes begin the 2nd week in September and continues through the first week of June, keeping the vacation schedule of the Bellingham Public School District. 4 Year old classes meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00-11:30 or 12:30-3:00. We have an additional Friday morning class which children from both morning and afternoon classes opt into.
Our mission is to foster a safe, healthy, fun, and age appropriate learning environment that teaches children about God and his love for them. We emphasis appreciating and exploring God's creation, interacting with other children, and preparation for kindergarten.
Our philosophy is to provide an environment where children feel the freedom to explore the world around them through curriculum that is age appropriate with daily activities that are biblical and academically based.We hope to inspire a positive outlook on further education and spiritual well being of the children being taught while being surrounded by dedicated, Christ loving teachers.

OCTOBER we begin the year with Health, so we learn right away how to keep from sharing our germs with others. We also read Bible stories about Christian Saints (for All Saints Day), and we talk about Families, and the Fall Season. NOVEMBER we teach about Thanksgiving and Native Americans and get to explore Bread Baking.
Unfortunately, there is no "free" way to pay online via convenient online portals; nevertheless, if you do not mind paying a small fee, you are welcome to pay via Stripe. In fact, it is our preferred method since you can set up automatic payment for the entire year and it often makes parents feel less stressed knowing they do not have to remember to write a check each month.
