A broad category of multidisciplinary practice focused on the needs of the elderly, incapacitated or any age client with a goal to plan for retirement and/or incapacity. Some of the areas of elder law includes estate planning, Medicaid planning, guardianship and preparation of wills, powers of attorney and trusts.
An individual's property and assets-including real estate, bank accounts, stocks, investment accounts and personal property such as automobiles and jewelry. Normally limited to assets solely in the name of a decedent at the time of death. A person or institution who manages money or property for another and who must exercise a standard care imposed by law, i.e., personal representative or executor of an estate, a trustee, etc.
Each year many individuals become either permanently or temporarily incapacitated making them unable to speak with their doctor or make medical decisions for themselves. Health Care Power of Attorney (also known as a Health Care Proxy) is a document in which a person (called the Principal) can appoint another trusted person (called the Health Care Agent) to act on their behalf in making medical decisions when they are unable to do so.
A "needs-based" medical insurance program paid by State and Federal funds, which helps many people who can't afford medical care (including nursing home care) pay for some or all of their medical bills. What if my special needs loved one or I (if disabled) receive an Inheritance, a gift or a law suit settlement - how might that affect government benefits?.

My husband and I used Giordano Law to have wills created. The process was quick and efficient, using their online portal. The whole thing took a couple of phone calls, maybe half a dozen emails within the portal (really nice that communication and data is within a secure portal), and one appointment for signatures. Attorney Giordano was especially great at explaining the legal language so that we were fully informed about the decisions we were making. I recommend this practice very highly. The people are great, and their process is secure and efficient.

Michael was extremely a blessing from God the nicest, and most professional person the my wife and has met in awhile.
