My last class at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor as a Natural Resource and Environment major happened to be a nature photography course. I was instantly hooked and never looked back. I made Estes Park, Colorado my home in 1999 and pursued landscape photography in Colorado with a passion. It was soon thereafter that I realized I loved being creative in all fields of photography.
It's an amazing job being a photographer in Estes Park, Colorado. Our day is spent enjoying Rocky Mountain National Park with some of the most engaging families. We are completely comfortable photographing everything from intimate Colorado engagements to large family reunions. It never surprises us to see how entertaining family photos in Estes Park turn out to be.

Look no further! Sky Pond (Alex & Michael) are professional. My husband left the shoot talking about what a professional job they did. They took their time, we are a family of 4 and they were happy to do any special shot we or the teenagers wanted to do. We will treasure these photos forever and remind us of our family vacation. We recently used Sky Pond Photo (Alex and Michael) during a family trip to Estes Park. We made inquiries of a number of photo studios. However, we chose Sky Pond because of Alex's prompt, friendly and informative response to our request for information. We made the right choice! Before and after the photo shoot, Alex has been 100% responsive via phone or email. He has answered all questions and clearly explained options. On the day of the shoot, he and Michael arrived at our rented lodge exactly on time--but let us know there was no need to rush if the kids weren't quite ready. The photo shoot

It was such a pleasure working with Alex and Michael. I thoroughly appreciated the suggestions Alex made concerning where and when would be best for our photo session along with what clothes to wear, his paying attention to details such as asking everyone if they had anything in their pockets because keys and phones will show in images, his tweaking of the final images (removing people and cars in background, etc) and the great care that both Alex and Michael took in composing and getting beautiful images of our two very young grandchildren as well as our whole family. Alex was wonderful to work with. He was attentive to detail, listened to what we were striving for & accomplished it. We have 3 boys and he worked with them individually as well as together to achieve a beautiful family photos for our 25th Anniversary.
