While in California, she launched Jayne Weddings & Events, focusing on styling, weddings and smaller social affairs for over 10 years. Since then, the name has gotten shorter but out services have grown. We now offer event programming, coordination for larger scale corporate events, and visual design for all types of projects.

Jayne Events specializes in indie-themed event design, out of the box event programming and event coordination. Our heart is in the shocking, out there & over the top. Sometimes we build, paint, hammer, cut, sew, fold & build large visual installations. Sometimes we work with Fortune 500 companies to produce memorable events.

We worked with Katie as a month of coordinator for our wedding in May and had a fantastic experience. She was a joy to work with, quickly got our vision, executed better than we could have imagined and gave us such peace of mind so we could completely relax and enjoy every minute of the big day. I had the opportunity to photograph an awesome event that Katie curated for Macy's on State Street over the 2017 holiday season. As an event professional it can be stressful creating an event that will be in such a public space, but Katie has an infectiously happy energy that made everyone want to talk to her about her display and her designs, and her aesthetic made photographing her creation fun for me as well! We hired Jayne Weddings for month-of coordination, and we seriously owe the perfection of our wedding day to Katie, Caroline, and their team. There were so many questions that I would not have even THOUGHT to ask myself that they were so on top of. I did not have to think at all on the big day, and all the details came together so perfectly. Katie and Caroline just had a way of knowing how to put things together that made our day effortless.

I interviewed several wedding planners, and ultimately decided to go with Katie and her team. My husband and I hired her to take care of everything, from design through implementation. The wedding was perfect - exactly what we wanted, as if she could see the pictures in our brains and made come to life. I could tell you a bunch of things about Katie and her team, but you might not believe me.
would you believe that, one week before our wedding and two days before we were scheduled to drop decor off at Katie's house, she gave birth to her gorgeous son?
would you believe that she emailed me about going into labor from her hospital bed?
would you believe that we dropped the decor off, like, one hour after she and her husband brought the baby home from the hospital?

From the moment we started talking about the plans, I knew Katie would be awesome to work with...actually I think she was more excited than I was for the big day :)

Katie planned my daughter's wedding in May. It was absolutely the best decision we made throughout the whole process. She made sure every detail was taken care of, she nudged my daughter to keep things on track when she needed to, and really put together the most beautiful and creative wedding I could of ever imagined. I was able to relax and enjoy the day, it was amazing. She also worked within our budget - which wasn't very big, but still provided the most wonderful event. I can't thank her enough.

I wish I could give Jayne Weddings 10 stars. I started working with Katie Jayne 9 months ago on the design blueprint and month-of coordination of our wedding which was this past Saturday. From the get-go, Katie was incredible to work with. She was so quick to answer emails and made me feel like her only client throughout the process.

Jayne Weddings was one of the best decisions/money spent on my wedding. I was planning a wedding in Chicago from Seattle in 5 months time with no plan to visit Chicago before our big day.
Katie, at Jayne Weddings is amazing. She is organized and very detailed with a creative eye. She helped with the catering contract, made sure all my vendors showed up, and that my guests were taken care of. But more importantly she made sure that I didn't have to worry about a thing. Which I didn't!

I was lucky enough to work with Katie on a shoot recently and the details she put together were amazing. She was like a breath of fresh air when it came to the idea, location, and overall end result.
