A dental filling is the material or materials used in restoring a tooth's outer surface. Gold is one of the best materials that gum tissue will tolerate and can last 20 years or more. Silver (amalgam) is one of the lease expensive materials and is resistant to wear. Composite or Resin is used when you want your filling to match the color of your tooth.

Giving one star only because no stars was not an option. This is a dishonest practice ran by a dishonest man and an unprofessional office manager. My wife worked for the office, and we spent Thanksgiving at his home. I needed a routine checkup and he offered to do the checkup at no charge. I even had insurance but he said it wasnt necessary. A year later, I recieve a notification from collections stating that I owed his office money. I called the office and the office manager thought it was humorous that I was sent to collections and said that llawan refused to speak with me. He did the same to

Lisa was the wonderful person who cleaned and did xrays of my teeth. She was gentle, as xrays are typically painful for me due to torai (not sure how to spell that). If possible, I would give her five stars, Thank You Lisa, you are wonderful!! Unfortunately, the reason for my visit was not only for a cleaning, but due to a piece of tooth that had broken off the previous day. My hope was to get something done about the tooth that was bothering me. However, Dr. Ilawan insisted that the reason the tooth broke was due to my history of teeth grinding, and did not believe me when I explained I had stopped

Dr. Ilawan came highly recommended by a friend and was a choice on our new dental insurance plan. I found that the office staff, dental assistants/hygienist and Dr. Ilwan, himself were friendly and professional. The office environment was clean and attractive and the exam rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Going to the dentist used to be my least favorite thing to do in the world. But since I have been going to Dr Ilawan, that isn't so anymore. Out of the last 2 dentists I went to, one I really liked the dentist, but her staff was not very friendly, the other I liked the staff but the dentist was not the least bit personable. When I had my first appointment with Dr Ilawan, I knew I had found my "forever" dentist! Went there yesterday and had a very bad experience. Brought my girlfriend in to have extractions done. I could hear her screaming in pain in the back, so I asked the nurse if she was okay. (If it was too much pain I would have requested she get oral surgery to be easier). The nurse asked me if I would like to go back and see her. I said okay. I've been Dr. Ilawan's patient for some time, and he consistently provides superior service in a beautiful, sparkling clean practice with great staff.
