Services
Dr. Allison was born and raised in Houma, LA. She was a Valedictorian graduate from Terrebonne High School in 2000. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Nicholls State University in 2004 and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2010.
At Allison Melancon, DDS we provide excellent preventive care, including exams, cleanings, and digital x-rays. Early detection of dental problems is essential to gain optimal oral health. The American Dental Association recommends that you follow a schedule of twice-yearly cleanings and exams.

The staff at Dr. Melancon’s goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable at all times. The staff thinks if every possible way to make you comfortable and ensure you get the best treatment. I will never go to another dentist. I have extreme dental anxiety and I look forward to going to the dentist now because I know I am in great hands.

I think this was the first time I ever left the dentist happy! The staff is kind, considerate, and very accommodating. Dr. Melancon and her staff made me feel very comfortable and I'm as excited as one could be to go back to them for follow-up! My daughter had a great experience as well and stated staff was very gentle!

I'm so happy I found this place! Dr. Melancon is very nice & explains all procedures well. Her office will let you know the cost of everything before getting the work done - no more surprises! Yay!! Megan is a wonderful hygenist, very gentle and very thorough. I definitely recommend getting your dental work done here.

Dr Melancon and her staff were very very committed to no PAIN on anything they did. The lady that cleaned my way overdue cleaning asked no less than 15 times if I was feeling anything uncomfortable which I wasn't and I truly appreciated her constant concern (unlike some previous dentists). Dr Melancon was very professional and extremely… knowledgeable and gave excellent advice and willing go well above and beyond what was necessary for me. I really appreciate their service and staff and hope she has success with my ins co. for future work. I feel very fortunate and lucky to have found them

Dr. Allison Melancon is the best!!!! The office is very clean and the staff is super friendly. (Our family loves you Reva) I’m a huge baby when it comes to dental procedures and Dr. Allison Melancon is so patient and gentle. Over the past year she has been correcting the mistakes of my past dentist. In the process she has relieved me of the stress of being scared of the dentist. My girls and I have been seeing Dr. Melancon for about a year and a half now. She has been friendly and professional for all of our visits. She does not overbook which I really appreciate. The office manager goes out of her way to accommodate us and also sends follow up reminders and texts which help me out a lot.
