Answering "yes" to one or both of these questions may indicate the need for a more comprehensive assessment. Prior to admission, each patient receives an evaluation, which addresses the following areas: physical and psychological needs, physiological gambling behavior, social spiritual, emotional, education, and family history.

Recovery is more difficult. It involves changing your outlook on life, your behavior and in some cases your environment.
