In operation since 1967, our mission has always been to assist families during their greatest time of need with professionalism, integrity, and dignity. And we've worked tirelessly to make that mission a reality. For more than 25 years, we've been the only funeral home with an onsite crematorium, so that your loved one doesn't get shuffled around from location to location.
Sometimes, you just want to say goodbye on your own terms, in your own time. With Direct Cremations, you'll skip the ceremony for a more private moment in your own home. Honoring a life is never easy. That's why we're here to help. With this package, you'll get basic professional services for the cremation and memorial of your loved one, plus an urn of your choice.
There's no one 'right' way to process the loss of a loved one, but having a burial with family and friends gathering to process grief along with you helps. Our caskets are affordable and can be rented (should you go with a cremation) or purchased outright. We typically curate your loved ones' funeral around the viewing of the casket.
It happens to all of us eventually, and you don't want just anyone to make these decisions on your behalf. While planning your funeral in advance may be uncomfortable, taking the time to do so frees your loved ones up from any financial burden it may cause. Plus, you can ensure your wishes will be carried out with the utmost care.

The service was incredible. The staff was polite and extremely professional. They make you feel like everything is in total control. Dignity, pride and total respect. I personally would recommend this company to anyone in need of a loving and compassionate company that makes the hardest decision much easier to go through.

The owner and staff were extremely pleasant and easy to work with and took lengths to be kind to myself and my family during what was a terrible time. They made the process simple, easy to understand, they were honest and respected our loved one and our family. Their facility was very nice, very clean, and the staff on hand were very gracious. My wife was in hospice obviously passed away. 12:15 am . We live in Montgomery AL. Had worked out some details . They came promptly had no issues and my wife was cremated quickly and for a third the cost of any other place I spoke with. Do recommend them highly. Honest people . My thanks to the owner and his staff.

Everyone here was so helpful when I lost my dad. Joseph and his team made the hardest day of my life so much easier. I am beyond thankful for everything they did for my family. Savannah delivered my dad to my moms house personally. She was so kind and sweet. They did everything they could to comfort and guide me through this process. My sisters cremation was handled from Jacksonville Florida. The staff was very professional and thorough and made me feel comfortable and confident. Everything was taken care of just as they discussed, allowing our family to grieve for the loss of our family member. I highly recommend their services.

A month prior to my husband’s passing of terminal cancer, we were passing a billboard advertisement for Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremations on our way to get ice cream and my husband quickly told me; “Write that information down!!” So, I called and met with Mr. Dean a couple weeks later and I’m forever grateful that I did. I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism of this company. I was tasked with handling the affairs of a very distant (but very loved) family member. My husband and I wanted to do the best for him out of respect, but dealing with these kinds of matters is incredibly foreign to us and we've been learning as we go.
