Williams & Southall Funeral Home was founded in 1958 through the cooperative efforts of two families. The Southall family and Williams family combined the only two Black owned funeral homes in the area to form one.
What started out as a small business run in Napoleonville has now expanded to include offices in Thibodaux, Donaldsonville, and home office in Napoleonville; Williams & Southall is still the only Black owned funeral Home in Assumption and Lafourche Parish.We have extended our services to include limo rentals, grief counseling, and life insurance.
