Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art, which means "the way of kicking and punching". In taekwondo, hands and feet can be used to overcome an opponent, but the trademark of the sport is its combination of kick movements. Our Taekwondo program is designed to teach students focus, discipline, confidence, as well as enhancing basic listening skills.
How does weekly field trips to an amusement park, roller skating, bowling, laser tag, and martial arts sound? Your child can spend the summer with us without emptying your pocket! We offer affordable payment plans, age-appropriate field trips, and a summer educational program that will get your child prepared for the upcoming school year.
Kang's MMA programs in Silver Springs are open to young children, teens, and adults. Through the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, our students learn discipline and gain self-confidence as they progress from a beginner white belt to an accomplished black belt. With our "tip testing" system, students gain competence in each belt level's kicks, form, physical fitness, and behavior requirements.
Parents of the birthday boy or girl can sit back and enjoy the birthday celebration. Your child will be the "star of the show" with an honorary black belt for the day. He or she will help our instructor lead the other children (and willing parents) through a fun Taekwondo class, break a board or two, and play martial arts games.

I have two son’s that have attended Kang’s MMA since 2014. My initial opinion was that they weren’t going to give my children what they needed but I was wrong. Kangs has become family! I’m not saying that there weren’t frustrating times but that’s expected. Children don’t only learn martial arts, they also learn the importance of self respect, discipline, honesty and integrity. Joining Kangs MMA was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my family.

Coming to this place and registering for classes is one of the best options. This school I like a lot personally because the teachers are very good and professions as well as in their work teaching as well as with the students. The children who go to Kang’s Mixed Martial Arts have a very good behavior, this place is very big, cozy and clean. There is also an area where parents can wait for the children to finish their class. I also liked the fact that they have a very good schedule for children of all ages. I highly recommend this place since you will always have a good martial arts learning

This is our 6th year with Kang's and we continue to be impressed with this school. Martial arts instructors and before and after school staff are respectful and friendly. Master Instructor and other instructors are very skilled and have a deep understanding of the art. We love the lifelong friendships that we've made along the way.

Very clean gym. The instructors are so good with kids and extremely skilled. They don't just teach the technique but the therory behind the styles they teach as well. I feel like they are my family. They welcome everyone. The students that come are respectful. This gym is by far the best I've been too. Also very competitive membership prices. I am beyond thankfully I found this gym. This is truly a place to grow confidence!

My son was at Kang's many years. He loved it. Since we moved, we haven't been able to find a dojo, even close to what was offered at Kang's. I'm ever so grateful. They were family for many years. That being said, staff is a very fickle crew. Quite frankly, your "in"or you are not. Like most cliques, it's great when your in. Please beware, if you're not. No reasons given, just like that. Once it's decided, your experience there is polar opposite. There was only 2 staff members, that didn't include themselves in treating us badly. I admire their integrity. Had it not "changed" our last year there

Grand Master Richard, Master Martin and the rest of the staff are an amazing group. They are constantly pushing you to your limits but are patient while you learn. The school instills very strong values of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance and Self Control. It's a wonderful place to learn different forms of martial arts such as Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muaythai, and Kick Boxing.
