During this time infants are building important brain connections as well as lots of language. Infants are eager to explore their environments through their senses while interacting with a variety of textures and materials. They are working on many large motor milestones as they move from reaching to rolling to walking!
Toddlers need opportunities to explore new objects, practice new and familiar skills, problem solve and conquer new challenges. Toddlers experience discovery through active play while participating in hands-on learning throughout their environment. They begin to "cement" their large motor skills and get steady on their feet.
Preschool children enjoy participating in purposeful play and develop friendships along the way. They are drawn to dramatic play, trying out new roles as they cook, take care of stuffed pets, or sell pretend groceries. They continue to develop their social and emotional skills by making friends, beginning to solve social problems and talking about their feelings.
Thrive Child Care and Family Resource Center is looking for caring, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking assistant teachers and classroom aides. We offer an excellent employment package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, a competitive wage and professional development opportunities.

Sending our daughter to Thrive was one of the best decisions we made as parents. The staff are amazing, engaged, thoughtful, and devoted teachers. It means a lot to be able to send your child to a place every day where she is not only safe and her needs are met, but a place where she is loved and cherished.
The staff are open to conversations, to working towards goals together (for example - potty training) and are all genuinely lovely people that I looked forward to chatting with at the end of the day. The classrooms are spacious, clean and organized with plenty of fun and interesting activities

Wet love it here. Staff are friendly and care about kids. They go out of their way to make things welcoming and work hard to make it a family resource center as well as s childcare. The teachers work with kids on social skills as well as teaching them age-appropriate things like "fall" or "fire-safety" (with activities, art, and books) in addition to the obvious things like potty-training and playing. We get regular parent-teacher conferences, Dailly feedback about what's going on, and monthly family nights (or did, pre-covid) and the teachers are really eager to help the kids based on parent feedback

Thrive says it is not part of church but the Thrive board is all church members and the pastor. The church staff and members walk in the secure facility all the time, during daycare open times. The director is never at work. Teachers break the child to staff ratios a lot because of not enough staff. Look for a different center.

Great center, excellent staff and strong community.
Our kids are very happy, learning and above all enjoying themselves.
I enjoy the monthly chance to chat with other parents in the Thrive community, and have a speaker on interesting and new parenting topics.
The director and staff genuinely care, and are great at what they do!
Oh, and the location can't be beat. Walking distance to the Gonda building and Methodist Hospital & also walking distance to the co-op for a quick kid friendly supper.

Our kids absolutely love Thrive. It is a wonderful feeling dropping them off each day knowing that they are well cared for and loved. All of the staff at Thrive greet you and your kids with a smile. At the end of the day, they communicate so clearly about how our kids' days went. We could not ask for a better daycare environment for our kids. Thank you Thrive!!!

I volunteer at Thrive and love the atmosphere there! It is a small center so teachers and children seem to really know each other well. I’ve see both children and teachers pop into the director’s office to say hello, play with a few toys (children), or ask a question. The activities look fun and engaging, and the center is always clean and well organized. I’ve also appreciated the support the Thrive team has given to families when needed or requested. This is a special touch that, in my opinion, is unique to Thrive!

I volunteer at Thrive several times per month. I see these teachers in action. They are kind and thoughtful and treat the children with such respect. The teachers are engaged and keep families up to date. I am usually there when the parents pick up the children and it is a lovely reunion. The parents often comment on how much they love this place!

I’ve had the pleasure of working at Thrive this summer while away from my 5th grade classroom. I can hardly call it a job because it’s such a pleasure to spend a few hours with the staff and students! The sense of community among children, parents, and staff is amazing! You truly feel like you’re part of one giant family at the monthly family nights.
