Our son has been attending Creative Stars for a little over 6 months and we couldn't be happier with the care they provide! Jill and Jay are fantastic and truly put their heart and soul into caring for the kids. When founder Jill Mertens was a little girl, one of her favorite parts of going camping was gazing through the top of her tent at the millions of bright stars twinkling in the sky. A mother of four, Miss Jill and her husband started a child care center out of their home in 2012. It quickly reached full capacity with a waiting list, and today Creative Stars offers all the engaging play children need to reach their full potential.
With our owners on-site, no details are missed when it comes to delivering exceptional child care. We know each family by name and provide an abundance of individualized attention to your baby while building a strong relationship that lasts for years to come. From fun days to outdoor slides, potlucks, magician visits, and more, we welcome families to bond as a community.
Every parent to a toddler knows just how much they love to explore! We keep them out of harm's way with the security of a fully-enclosed yard, CCTV camera monitoring, and doors that require keycode access. Surfaces and toys are cleaned after each use. Our talented team has years of experience working with little ones, and each teacher holds a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
Teachers have years of experience in early childhood education, with each holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree. The Conscious Discipline classroom management technique turns everyday life events into teachable moments. Your little learner will begin writing their name, recognizing words and letters, and conversing confidently with their teacher as they build literacy skills.
Security precautions such as an enclosed yard, privacy fences, and restricted access doors keep your young explorer out of harm's way. Toys and surfaces are regularly disinfected to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Teachers each possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree and have several years' experience in leading a classroom.

I have been teaching preschool since 1987. I have worked in many beautiful centers with great teachers and wonderful staff. Creative stars is the best place by far I have ever taught at in my entire career. Our faith based preschool is a wonderful family environment which fosters the overall growth of our children. I love the fact we have experiences like music,STEM projects, and field trips to enhance the curriculum to provide the best experiences for our students. We send our infant and 2.5yr old to CSA (since July 2021). This is not our first daycare experience, but we are new to town. The price of all daycares was more than expected, but CSA was reasonably priced and worth paying for what they have to offer. We have been extremely happy with our choice. The director is very friendly and responsive. Communication is easy in person, and she returns my calls or emails promptly. The assistant director is a lifesaver- she frequently helps me during drop-off (my son loves "school" but doesn't like saying goodbye). I feel like the teachers take a special interest

I absolutely love Creative Stars Academy as a parent and a staff member. When I was offered the job opportunity with Creative Stars, I was worried about how my children would adjust, but it has been the best decision for myself professionally and my children. My 3 year old who is very slow to warm up has really blossomed and blows me away with all of the things he is learning in Preschool. CSA has made transitioning a lot easier for my family! Especially for a first time mother. Having a team of people care for my child as one of their own keeps my mind at ease. There is an app used to keep you up to date on their daily activities such as feeding, napping, diaper changing etc. You will also receive photos throughout the day that not only brings joy but reassures you of the safety of

We love Creative Stars! I was sold when I heard my oldest son singing "Yes, Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so." He asks to pray before all meals at home. I love how they educate kids on the bible, through music and story telling. What a blessing the academy has been for all of our family members. We greatly appreciate the staff and the consistent communication daily. Thank you so much!

I’m so happy I found this place! My daughter started in the infant room and has graduated to the toddler room and she always comes home happy. The staff are all very kind, caring, and professional, and they do fun activities throughout the day that I really think have helped my daughter grow and develop. The app they use is great and it allows me to see what my daughter is doing during the day and they often send me pictures and videos as well. I would highly recommend Creative Stars Academy to anyone looking for a top notch childcare facility!
