Dr. Rick Scholfield established Scholfield Veterinary Hospital in 1982. For over 30 years, Dr. Scholfield has been providing knowledgeable and compassionate care in the Kentwood and Grand Rapids area. The entire veterinary team strives to offer the best possible care for your pet and hope to form a memorable relationship and bond with each of our clients.
Scholfield Veterinary Hospital is a full-service and well-established practice that services both dogs and cats. We provide a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, and dental care. We offer in-house testing as well as outside laboratories to better diagnose your pets problem. When required, we work hand in hand with Grand Rapids veterinary specialists to help pinpoint critical cases.

Can never say enough good things about this place. We’ve been bringing all our pets here for close to 6 years. The staff is incredible and they’ve taken such amazing care of our animals. Between all of the visits both our cats, our older dog, and our new puppy have made here, we’ve never had a negative experience. Even after moving we still continue to drive the extra distance to come here because we’ve always felt so cared for at a personal level.
