I've gone here now three times and each one is worse, so I guess I'm going to cut it off here.
Last time some Aussie (?) was behind the counter, super nice if a little too talkative. Overall not a bad visit but I remember the food being much better a few years back.
Tonight a woman was behind the counter, incredibly rude and even rolled her eyes at me for reminding the staff that I ordered my food to-go as I saw they were about to put it on plates for dining in. Once my order was completed and packed up, she put it off to the side and forgot about it even though I was standing right there

I have eaten here so many times in my life, and it is still the same wonderful restaurant Abid opened in the 1990s. I always have tagine with merquez, but everything is good: "royal feast", shwarma or falafel on a baguette, the sweet green tea, lentil soup, bastilla. They also have excellent breakfast. I wish I still lived in Northampton so I could still go every week.

Wish I could give a better review because I have had great food here in the past. This is more to give feedback to the owner because I want them to succeed. Ordered a bowl of soup, when it came it was barely warm, the woman at the counter seemed annoyed that I was asking for it to be warmed up. They microwaved it so much, I couldn't eat it for about 5 minutes. When my falafel Sandwich came, it was basically thrown on a plate, falling apart, with hardly any salad in it. I picked it up to eat it and there were black hairs on the plate. Brought it up to the counter and got my money back- but

10/10 gem in downtown Northampton. The flavors here are incredible! I keep going back for their Amanouz Royal Feast (some of the best Tabbouleh I've ever had). We've been waited by the same guy each time - who at this point is part of the experience and keeps us returning! They also pay attention to their presentation of food which I greatly appreciate. I'd also recommend the falafel -- we've gotten that each time we've returned. My favorite part about the meal is how healthy it is - we always walk away feeling great no matter how stuffed we are.

This place is the absolute best & never fails to impress. Recently, my partner and I got 2 tagines (one with lamb and one with chicken), and they were both delicious! We got a few dessert pastries too. I didn't care for them, but I'm excited to try some more. They have such a variety of items on the menu.

The food was just ok, I got chicken kabob sandwich and chicken with couscous. Neither were super flavorful except for the sauce on the side, which tasted like generic hot sauce. I don't think it's worth it for the price, but it wasn't bad and I don't regret trying this place. The salads people were eating near me looked good, so maybe thats better than what I ordered. The interior could use some updating, and there were a couple flies flying around. I did find it funny they sold these little chocolate mousses from Costco for like 4-5 dollars each cus I bought them in a 6 pack

We went here on the recommendation of our Airbnb. It certainly doesn't look like much from the outside, a small cafe with a few tables outside and a parklet. The menu is bigger than expected, with a combination of takeout sandwiches (shawrma etc) and sitdown stews (lentils, tangine). Our food was fresh, exactly the right portion, and had some kind of sour, slightly spicy sauce to add. Such warmth and deliciousness! Plus so many little pistachio and honey treat options for dessert.
And the best was the cashier/ waiter. No idea of his name, but he answered questions, was funny, and ran the

Food: Phenomenal. The dinner plates are very nicely flavored. The lamb on baguette was also delicious, though it probably had a bit too much sauce.
Ambience: Inside can get hot as it's a pretty small spot, outdoor seating is nice though.
Price: Reasonable.
Service: They bring out the food to you, rest is self service.

We loved being able to reminisce about our trip to Morocco while eating this delicious Tagine and cous cous. Tastes/preparation were on pare with what we had in country, so high on authenticity. The portions are giant (one dinner was enough for 2 average adults). We had takeout, so we can't speak for service other than everything was hot, on time and correct.

Oh my God! The food was just Wow.... and our server Brian is a very friendly and welcoming. I am a guy who travel throughout New England and this is the first time I couldn’t stop eating. The food for the value of money was great. Definitely coming back here with my friends and family regardless if its a 3 hour drive for me.

This is where flavor meets modesty.
If you're in the north hamptons area and looking for a hearty meal its definitely worth a stop. The ambiance is low key like you've walked into someone's dining room, and watch the chefs in action.
We tried the dolma (3 grape leaf rolls over a mound of salad), chicken kebab on lavash bread packed with salad, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and tahini sauce and sampled a variety of sweets baklava, bourma, mushaba.... if I had to pick a fav it would be the pistachio bourma.
The service is excellent.. they make you feel truly at home with their smiles

Out of sight delicious. I'm just upset that I haven't eaten here before. What a great meal at an affordable price, and they also have outdoor seating which is great during these Fall days.
Staff was great, service was great, and they're always busy so you may have to wait but its worth it.
Their salads are outstanding. I had the avocado salad and the daily special of swordfish cooked in a tagine. It came with yellow saffron rice, vegetables, and of course the freshly cooked sword fish. You have to order their specialty moroccan mint tea, it was unlike anything I've ever tasted

Went to this location on a whim. At arrival, the cashier was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He provided me with substantial information on gluten free options in terms of modifications for each item. Our group sat down in their outdoor sweating and asked for water in which the provided bottled water at $3 each. Then I expressed that I was allergic to peppers. The waiter noted it down and repeated it. When I get my food, it had peppers in it. I also ordered an appetizer which also had peppers in it. When it came back out the second time after being remade, it continued to have peppers in

I'm upset that this place is 4.5 stars and not a full 5 stars! The food here is AMAZING - from taste to portions and price! For ~$22 (includes tax and tip!) you can get a HUGE portion of tagine with lots of veggies and/or meat. I loved their stewed, flavorful veggies (carrots and lentils!) and their meat was fall off the bone, super tender and yummy!
Would come back to this place in a heartbeat and would go out of my way to eat here!
Good covid measures of online ordering + pick up, and outdoor seating available

Had a mo-rockin' good time here on Saturday night! Ample available tables, helpful service, chill music & decor. You order from the large menu at the counter and then you sit with your number and wait for them to bring you your food when it's ready. The food quality (and quantity) at these price points can't be beat. We had the lamb tagine and the couscous royale. The meat and veggies were so tender and flavorful, and the grains absorbed the flavors swimmingly. The ultimate comfort food on a cold night!

This is a small Moroccan place, but food is really good. As other Yelper's mentioned, Moroccan Mint tea is something you shouldn't miss. It is a sweet black tea with mint flavor. Ginger herb tea was just ginger boiled in water. Amanouz Royal Feast is a good way to try many of their appetizers. All appetizers were really good. Tagine Fez was an excellent entree. Lamp was extremely tender. Prune in the Tagine was a taste I never had before, but was really good. Shawarma was huge, and really good.
