Our Marrero dentists, Dr. Andreotta and Dr. Garrity, and their team at Southern Dental Care want to give you every possible reason to smile. Dr. Andreotta and Dr. Garrity have been helping patients achieve healthy smiles since 2013.
Dr. Lacey Andreotta, DDS, grew up outside Baton Rouge, in Denham Springs, LA. She attended Louisiana State University for both her undergraduate and dental degrees and spent two additional years of graduate studies at Illinois State University. Beyond the requirements of dental school, our Marrero dentist completed advanced training in dental forensics, endodontic training (root canals).
As a Marrero, LA, dentist, Dr. Lenore Garrity is thrilled to have teamed up with Dr. Andreotta. Dr. Andreotta is not only her personal dentist, but also one of her best friends! Having grown up in nearby Belle Chasse, Dr. Garrity returns to her roots at Southern Dental Care. While attending Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Garrity received extra training in root canals procedures, as well as in dental forensics.

Well, where do I start. From the moment I walked in the door was pleasant. The atmosphere was calming and the front desk lady was extremely nice. I was called to the back almost immediately. I’m not good with names but the lady whom conducted my X-rays was very professional and calming. I can’t even tell you the dentist name I was so nervous. I am extremely pleased with this office starting with making the appointment on the phone till the second I checked out today! Everything went very smoothly and everyone was very pleasant. My appointment was for 8:00am and I was brought to the back at 8:00am!! Hope to have a long future with these ladies!

My baby had a tongue tie and a lip tie procedure. She was in and out in minutes. They took amazing care of her and contacted me to cheer me on the first night. They sent encouragement, and advice on feeding and… meds.
I was not expecting them to be so personal!!!! It was amazing to know I wasn’t alone that first night. They took the cutest pic too (mom swoon). Absolutely would travel an hour away for all of my kids to go here!!!!!

Words cannot explain how considerate, sweet, genuine, endearing and generous this group of dental professionals are! I was able to book in for emergency dental and I have to say, I have been in La for three years now and I’ve never been treated as nicely as this business treated me. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Lacy, each person had the… most wonderful demeanor. They are offering free dental care for veterans on Veteran’s Day as they know how backed up the VA is right now! At one point I was even offered some pizza that arrived for their lunch! I don’t usually do reviews. Well I never do. But I am a business owner so maybe I need to start. This Dental office is Absolutely great. I’ve been going to the dentist forever but this is the first office to make me feel more than just a patient. I had a root canal done and I didn’t feel a thing. I’ll be back to get all my work done, before I get my Vaneers! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, I can’t wait to come back.

They were very hospitable. They asked was I okay during my procedure. It was painless. I felt nervous going in but they put me at ease. I got my tooth extracted and they conversed with me every step they were about to do before doing it. They wanted me to let them if I felt any pain during the extraction and I felt none. I recommend these ladies to anyone that's apprehensive about extractions. The best dental experience, EVER!!!
