Rommy's Cuisine on Central Avenue in Summerville is a great place to go for delicious and well made food that is well worth a visit. I really like their BBQ, seafood, and just about everything on their menu. They are a good value for everything that you get. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you get everything that you need.

We had our son's baptism catered by Tommy's today. Everything was great from the ordering, to the delivery, to the delicious food!! Kelvin was great to work with. I highly recommend Rommy's!!

I was not impressed. The food smelled great but the porkchops were overfried and way to much seasoning. The Macandcheese was not seasoned at all. But the shrimp was good. The prices are extremely high (cheapest meal $14) but you do get a nice portion of food. I wont be going back but someone else might love what I didn't like.

I tried Rommy's Cuisine for the first time today and was left very disappointed. I ordered the fried fish meal, and while the fried fish was seasoned well, the breading was very thick. The macaroni and cheese was not tasteful and I was mostly disappointed with the fried cabbage. The cabbage was very dark in color and lacked flavor and seasoning. I try to support small businesses, so I was left in discontent when my food was not satisfactory.

These people literally sold me spoiled food. I don’t care if it’s a small business, I don’t care if it’s locally owned, I took one bite and if I get sick the buck doesn’t stop here. I got the turkey wings over rice with collard greens and yams. I couldn’t even eat the Turkey wing it was so dried out and old. I couldn’t even chew it. The rice literally smelled rancid and tasted like it was left out for days, went spoiled, and was heated up. I wouldn’t eat the sides after I saw the rice under the turkey wings was spoiled. I’m so mad I could spit right now. I actually took a bite

This was really bad, I absolutely hate giving a bad review when I know so many small businesses are struggling, but this was really really not good. I order fried chicken and although the outside was fried, the inside was still frozen. The Mac n’ cheese had no flavor. The ribs were dry and tasted old. Would not recommend and in fact, would go out of my way to deter folks from going.

Loved it! I had fried pork chops and my girlfriend had the shrimp and rice. We both got macaroni and fried okra. The okra tasted as good as my brother's home grown okra. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Service was very friendly and quick. Will definitely be eating here again when I come back to Summerville

Nasty! Shrimp and gravy nasty macaroni nasty and they fried chicken and pork chops in seafood flour…. Will never visit again

The ribs had a fantastic smoke flavor! The BBQ sauce was good but store bought. The hash was great but the red rice was lacking any real flavor. The fried chicken wasn't breaded which was a surprise and the baked beans were good. The portions were huge. Two meals could feed a family of three-four. I'll likely try it again but it wasn't so amazing that I need to come back right away.

Love Rommy's for a home-cooked meal when I'm not up to cooking. We always get the ribs and the chicken. Every meal has consistently been delicious.

03/19/2021: Super good, moist and delicious corn bread!!! Shrimp and grits were plenty and right amount of spices. Enjoyed it. Has a little basic dining section. Food was served in takeout containers. Non-alcoholic beverages. Kelvin was friendly and answered our questions. Lots of Takeout traffic.

My first experience here. Really wanted some good ole southern comfort food. Rommy’s knocked it outta the park! Most often when you get “traditional” food, it’s too light in flavor and seasoning. The green… beans were perfect and Mac n cheese was delish. And not froofy Mac n cheese. It is grandma’s Mac n cheese. The fried chicken was perfect. Rarely, do you get takeout food home and it’s hot. This was perfect! I will definitely be back and recommend this place. I hope it hangs around for many years to come! Not a great selection of places to eat in Knightsville

The food quality is horrible. I spent $63 ordering on doordash and i received seafood salad with bad seafood in it. My entire house smells from the stench of the seafood salad. The curry chicken was like a dry rub and the chicken was DRY for the price the food should’ve been MUCH better quality and taste

The price is decent for the amount of food I got. the taste was beyond amazing!! currently waiting on my second order to arrive. 5* all around!!!

Tried through Uber eats tonight for the first time. All I can say is AMAZING! The shrimp and fish combo was spot on , and that corn bread !! And I am super picky about Mac n cheese , but theirs is delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back.

I’m neutral with this. Their customer service is really good but the shrimp and grits I have some issues with. See I’m traveling and leaving back to Ohio tonight and visiting my hometown. So I wanted to have my favorite dish of shrimp and grits before leaving on the long drive where I might have to be in snow again because it was like that when I left. The first thing I noticed was brown gravy. I never had brown gravy for this dish but it can be used so okay. So I get home and dig in and the grits is super dry. There’s also an abundance of veggies. So I just ended up eating mainly the shrimp
