Not sure how anyone could give the Saw Mill Club less than five stars. Equipment is top notch and always updated/refreshed, sauna, steam room, towel service, indoor and outdoor pools, signing privileges (like a real cc) for cashless purchase of GREAT food, basketball courts, spin area with reservations, great personal trainers with almost no turn over (says the most about working environment to me), child care available while working out, they offer flu shots during flu season, have vendors during the holidays, and have not raised their dues for many years. I have been a member for over 15 years

Great gym for a small town. I'm a fitness pro, and a pro athlete, and when I'm in town visiting my parents, I go to East, while they prefer the SMC for the more club-like feel and amenities. Honestly, it's super clean, they have everything anyone could possibly need from a well-rounded gym and the staff is really nice. Win, win. Great gym away from home gym. Home gym is Golds, Venice so being at East is a bit of a luxury.

The overall facilities and aesthetics need improving especially the locker rooms which are in pretty bad shape. They have a large variety and number of equipment which are in decent condition for the most part. The staff are decent but could be more engaged, in my opinion. I think for the price of the family plan there are better gyms out there but they do offer swim team for kids which is good.

This is a great club for not only its high end looks and feels but a great place from the workout area to the staff...I joined mainly for the pools, basketball court, and it’s cycling. It’s a beautiful club inside to the outside the staff are really friendly and nice and you don’t feel pressured...I believe that if your looking for a place with a great hospitality and nice and clean facilities this is the right place for you!

"Exceeds expectations" is how I'd sum up Saw Mill Club. Ample parking, no-wait well-maintained machines, inclusive classes, varied and pleasant work-out spaces, well-appointed locker room, welcoming staff, and a cafe with healthy creative choices have helped me decide not to put my membership on hold this summer because I'd miss coming here. My first experience with staff was the intro tour, upbeat yet low-key. I like the Saw Mill Club's relaxed-energy vibe in a top-drawer setting.

I've been a member for around 18 years although it only became saw mill a few years back. Over all I am happy. However as an evening user there are less classes, sadly I'm not a kept woman and have to work. Mornings which have greater class choice, I hear are crazy busy. There is often audio issues, machines break. The pool and the swim team use the pool most of the hours I am not in work so that limits my access, during adult swim time there are often lesson or training?? and when not in the pool the swim team is loud, messy and inconsiderate of other members. In the new year there

I have only unused the pool for about 2 years. It's pricey but critical for arthritis so I make the investment in health. There are more lap lanes than the NYSC in Somers and closer than the Brookfield Y or White Plains Y, where I used to swim before moving to northern Westchester. Given the ease of information technology, changes in the pool schedule should be available online. Too often private lessons are taking place and the regular lap swimmers have to wait. Scheduling info should be up to date. Don't see why the club doesn't provide this information. Second, though the steam

I joined Saw Mill about 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. The place is immaculate, the staff is warm and friendly and it isn't overly crowded. My trainer Paul is wonderful; I love the whirlpool, pool, workout rooms and lux changing rooms. And the tennis courts are great as well. Highly recommended.

Good news:
I didnt actually use the facilities. I did walk through it and the gym looks like a nice place to exercise.
Bad news:
The reason for two stars was because I was told via email that I could join by paying $99 cash to join and pay $99 cash each month to use the facility. That sounded fair enough to me but when I drove down there, I was then informed I would need to sign a contract, supply them with a credit or debit card and I would need to give 30 days written notice if I decided not to come back. I felt like they were not being forthright in my email communications to get me to come

Overall not a bad club with variety of classes. However, their guest policy spoiled my good impression of the club. If you play squash, you can't bring your friends for a game unless they are also members. The same guest can come only 3 times a year, and this policy is strictly enforced by the management. They literally track how many times you have a guest and then bother you with calls. For me this policy does not make sense, since single guest pass costs as much as $20, and I can't imagine people use it for anything but play squash with their friends. It is not surprising that all

I've been a member now for a couple of months, and it's totally fine. The gym itself is clean, and mostly well-staffed. The staff - trainers, receptionists, etc. - are all really nice and helpful. My only reason for docking the gym one star is that they have a weak selection of what they deem "Extreme Training" items. The kettlebells only go up to 26 kilos, they don't have a lot of bands, and they don't have things like a slide board, racks, etc.
That said, it's clean, has tons of amenities, and an interesting array of members.

Best sports club in Westchester. I have been coming here for over 20 years, and the quality has only gotten better.
Updated Yoga studio with full-thermostat and humidity controls. Steam and sauna in lockers. Large, fluffy towels provided. State of the art gym facility, with tons of group training and personal coaching options. Not to mention the racquet sports.
A membership here gets you automatic access to Saw Mill East on the other side of the tracks.

The Good: Wide variety of machines and lots cardio equipment so there usually isn't a wait. Big fan of the cardio theater.
The Bad: The high price, which starts at $99/month. Be prepared to pay for anything above the basic. And forget your water? They charge you $2 for the same bottle that sells for $0.50 in Target. I have been a member of Saw Mill Club for many years.
My main areas of interest are tennis and the cardio/weight training area.
First let me talk about tennis. There are 13 tennis courts and all are meticulously maintained. The courts are resurfaced on a regular basis and any wear is promptly repaired. The tennis staff is incredible. The tennis professionals are not only superb players but are also excellent teachers. They have elevated my game and continue to do so, often offering constructive advice even when I am playing on another court.

The club is expensive although all the equipment is top of the line. The locker rooms at "east" constantly need attention and the staff never re-racks weight for those of us that don't bench 300lbs.
Tennis courts are clean and bright however the brand new courts they just had put in there have all delaminated from the sub floor but they are still playable. The instruction there is mediocre for what you pay for, I can beat most of the pros there and i'm 55 years old!. The pros there, with a few exceptions, are just human ball machines. There are better kids programs around despite what they tell

The place is very clean, they have lots of equipment and offer lots of amenities for a good value. They have tons of classes (that cost extra :-\...) and lots of cool amenities like the squash courts, indoor pool, yoga studio, spin room, [half] basketball court, steam room, sauna, etc... that I think it's a good value, especially considering the area. It's always clean, the staff is always friendly (not going to lie, they're almost annoyingly friendly) and yet it's very open.

I have been a member of the Saw Mill Club on and off throughout the years. Managements passion for health and fitness shows in the hiring and training of the best group exercise instructors in the area. I am especially fond of the yoga program. Unlike other "gym" yoga class experiences, the Saw Mill Club makes you feel as though you are in a real yoga studio by paying attention to every detail including temperature, lighting, and music. My 6 year old son has utilized both the aquatics and tennis programs and has received better and more advanced instruction than many of his peers who participate

I went in to join 2 weeks ago for gym to use just on Saturday and Sundays..I found the equipment dated for relatively new gym but what completely turned me off was the lack of amenities in the locker room. No deodorant no razors no shaving cream... The showers were dirty and the locks that they sell at the front desk or old school and impossible to open

This gym is the satellite gym to Saw Mill Club on 77 Kensico Dr. The membership to Saw Mill Club is expensive, and it is a country club atmosphere.
The gym here is a fitness sports club atmosphere. It is located in the 333 N. Bedford lot area in the end corner.
There are ample parking spots.
They have a soft studio, an aerobic studio that is also a basketball court when there are no classes, a spinning studio with spin bikes with computers, a video room where you can watch movies/tv shows that they air throughout the day and you can have your cardio workout. It's like a theatre room
