Dr. Gary Sapienza is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He graduated dental school from Fairleigh Dickinson University, followed by a five-year dental tour as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He is continuously voted Best Dentist of South Jersey and is a recognized dental mentor in the community.
Dr. Sapienza and his team go the extra mile to make sure patients have positive experiences, whether they need a routine cleaning or full-mouth reconstruction. Patients receive a follow-up phone call to check in on their progress following a complicated procedure. Our patient care extends beyond our dental chairs.
As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs, including non-managed care, indemnity (traditional) and PPO out-of-network. We are not part of any managed care network. Our accounting staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to Dr. Sapienza and our caring team of professionals. Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic (CEREC) has revolutionized dental treatment. Traditionally, when crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were used to restore teeth, there would be a considerable amount of time spent waiting for the new restorations to be created. With CEREC, we can create these ceramic restorations within minutes in our office.

If anyone should give a review, it should be me. I have the biggest fear of going to the dentist, to a point where I would only go if it was an emergency. That was until I met Dr. Sapienza! I trust him! When I tell you that he is the most gentle dentist I have ever met, I mean it! I have been a patient now for over 10 years and when I walk in the office, it always feels like it’s the first time. The staff and doctors are always welcoming! Love, Love Leading Smiles and Dr Gabby Sapienza. My crown that they’d done for me 1-2yrs ago fell out a few weeks back -they responded immediately and I was promptly booked an appointment for today in which they replaced my crown for free. The extra care they take to make you as comfortable as possible wether it’s fetching you a blanket to stay warm or the happy gas or numbing cream or the numbing itself -extra care is always taken to ensure your comfort. I have been looking for a good dentist for a long time. I personally have always been scared of going to a dentist and even more scared of the needles to the point that I try everything in me to avoid going. Through google and reading reviews I decided to make an appointment with leading smiles after having pain for a while on a tooth. The minute I walked in they were attentive and paid attention to my concerns. I’m usually uneasy going to the dentist, but Gail, Paige, and Dr. Gabrielle helped make my appointment the smoothest visit to a dentist that I can remember.
