Dr. Francis Smithgall graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in New York City. During his residency he worked in a mobile dental van treating underprivileged patients in rural upstate New York.
Simply said, our staff loves kids. Everyone has chosen to work in a pediatric setting and understands the importance of positive dental experiences for children. Working as a team, we create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and parents alike. The combination of experienced staff with caring personalities uniquely defines our practice to make a lasting dental home.
This journey usually begins for their first dental visit by your child's first or second birthday. We work to create a special bond with our patients and their families that provides the best dental care coupled with oral health education, all tailored to your child's growth and development. It is wonderful watching those smiles mature from elementary school photos to prom night and beyond.

As a board certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Fran is uniquely qualified to care for your child's oral health. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatrics and The American Dental Association all recommend that a child should be seen for an initial dental visit by about his/her first birthday.

I can not say enough positive
Things about my experience with Dr. Francine Paladino! I am a new mom of two baby's ages 1 and 3. Most of their lives have been during a global pandemic so taking my children to a dr apt as vulnerable as a dental apt was worrisome. Dr. Paladino's office is immaculate! I felt 100% safe for myself and my kids. Her entire team is so wonderful, helpful and genuinely kind. Dr Paladino herself is one of the most thorough and genuine drs I have ever met. Think back to 30 years ago when doctors didn't cram one patient every 15 minutes into their daily schedule
