Fifth generation Houstonians, Steven and Greg come from a family with strong Houston roots that are tied to real estate and construction. Steven and Greg are both graduates from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Steven worked in management consulting in San Francisco prior to joining CASCO Industrial Builders where he managed industrial construction projects and real estate development.

We've all learned in basic financial management classes that the ownership of assets is essential to building wealth and financial independence. Out of the many assets you can invest in, ownership of rental properties has always stood out for its potential to create steady cash flow as well as growth in value over time.
While many aspects of owning a multi-family rental home are similar to single-family rental homes, here are quite a few added responsibilities. It took a little while to get ahold of them but in the end they actually came through. I’m writing this review for my boyfriend as I don’t actually deal with Shannon Properties. He was frustrated with them at first because they weren’t answering their phones but it turns out it wasn’t their fault. He ended up getting the help he needed almost immediately when they figured out what was going on. They were very professional, helpful, and in the end very responsive.

Renters beware.
We rented from this company for a year and took care of the house as if it was our own. We paid $500 for professional cleaners to come clean it when we moved out, it was spotless, better than when we moved in.
A MONTH after we move out we get a $400 charge for “excessive wear and tear on the property”. We have emailed and called asking for an explanation on what they are referring to and of course no response from the company. They will not call back and will not email back.
This is not how you treat good renters.
PS - their maintenance man is unprofessional and unreliable

All I can say is wow! I moved into a very beautiful home in the Heights in Feb 2021. When we first moved in, it was a total disaster from mold, to ac issues, and the list goes on. Our previous Property Manager with Nan was unresponsive and careless with our living situation. I had to take time out of my own working day to facilitate plumbers, AC guys, handymen, etc. Shannon Property Management took over our rental home last month and they showed me EXACTLY how to manage a home properly. Shannon Property Management, and Gail in particular, is exceptional to work with. They were very responsive, professional, and kind throughout the entire move-in process. Having moved and leased many properties over the years, I don’t think my wife and I have had a better experience getting into a new home. We highly recommend working with them if you are looking for a place to live.
