Our company originally started with a Houston property management office in 2006 and expanded to providing Dallas area property management team in 2010. Our property management teams works with landlords, investors, and homeowner associations for the management of their rental property (single family or multifamily) or HOA community.

Services
The Ashoka Lion- a beautiful emblem symbolizing the powerful, calm protection above the murky water. In Ancient India, the emperor Ashoka had converted to Buddhism, and he used the imagery of a pillar that had a base in the shape of a lotus with a lion guarding on top. The lotus is a flower with roots that go down deep into the muddy parts of a lake or body of water.
Jay Raman has been a REALTOR since 2001 and a broker since 2010. Jay as the managing director of Ashoka Lion is responsible for overall activity for the property management division. This is why his focus is assisting our agents and staff handle client needs, managing our team goals and production, moving company forward through rules and regulations, developing policy, and technology adoption.
Our single family property management division is run by Joshi Joseph, and his efforts have lead Ashoka Lion to being recognized as one of the top property management firms in the Dallas area. Chapter 92 of Texas Property code requires a property management firm to provide a written leasing criteria. Per Chapter 92 of Texas Property Code (Section 92.3515), Tenants prior to applying for a landlords property should be given a written leasing criteria. Joshi joseph is the reason I write this review. I feel very fortunate to have him to be my manager.He have so many good attributesthat make him an excellent manager. Highly accountable, work diligent and enthusiastic to make everything done properly. I have a tenant who had lived over ten years. When she moved out, it need a long lists of repairs and extensive works he solely taking care on my behalf. He always communicate well and timely, can summarize the whole situation precisely. While I did not ultimately choose Ashoka Lion to manage my property, I am giving them a 5-star view for the excellent attention and service Joshi provided. He came to visit the property even prior to signing a contract (as some bigger companies require) and was more than generous with both his time and incredibly helpful advice. Joshi kept our properties up to code and was willing to work with our preferred service providers, but his contacts with HVAC and other providers helped remedy situations more quickly than would have been possible relying only on ours.
The company's internet portal helped up keep up with the properties and while there were a few glitches generating a couple of reports these were quickly resolved with a phone call.

I was looking for a property management company for my rental in Plano but unfortunately my property is located outside of their service area. Joshi did not rush me off the phone after learning where my property was located but answered a ton of questions I had. He even referred me to website where I can further search for another property management company. They seem like a really great company and their reviews show this. Keep up the great work guys!

Both Ashoka Lion's property management and realtor service are solid. Joshi is just a phone call away and extremely detail-oriented and communicative when you need to stay on top of all details to your investment. At the same time, he's pro-active, fast and highly reliable in taking care of all sort of small details so you can stay a bit hands off with peace of mind. My wife and I rented a home in Dallas managed by Joshi Joseph from Ashoka Lion. Unfortunately, we had to move after our lease was up due to a change of jobs.
We are both in agreement that we received an exceptional level of service from Joshi and Ashoka Lion during the time of our lease. Our rent price was reasonable, work orders were handled in an efficient and effective manner, and communication with Ashoka was very fluid.

Where do I begin, I was relocated to Houston I work for DoD. I reviewed a listing on truila and contacted an agent (Tiffany Whaley) who showed me the house located on 16110 Canaridge. I put in my application paid the fee $50.00, Tiffany sends me a text not a phone call stating "Hi there. Canaridge is not going to work. Please let me know if maybe you would like to view the one in Briargate. Ashoka Lion is our property management company for a townhouse we own in Richardson, TX. They located an excellent tenant for us within a week. Their web presence is strong and they use tools to reach a wide audience of prospective tenants. They have a staff of service vendors that cover all of our needs.
