I went to 209 salon for about 2 years, i loved my stylist. but when i came in to get my hair done the last time the owner put me with a girl i have never gotten my hair done with, i was obviously shocked and confused because im loyal to my stylist. the girl then proceeded to FRY my hair completely. i've only ever dyed my hair once and now i can't even get my hair dyed and it's been almost a YEAR LATER because of how damaged my hair is. the owner is not only rude to customers but to his own stylists!! the only good stylists have left the salon. don't give this salon any money

I have been going to 209 Salon for almost a year now. Jocie is the best at everything she touches! I go in wanting something new every single time, always keeping Jo on her toes, and she never fails! I cannot recommend this salon enough. Rich always makes you feel at home when you walk in. I will never go anywhere else!

The manager of this salon refuses to provided receipts or services rendered, and I’ve been informed that he adds additional treatments to your bill. I can’t confirm this because he will not provide a single receipt for any transaction. Will be reporting him to the board!

Toni is an ARTIST! He Edward scissored my hair and I came home feeling confident! I have curly hair and he made it sing. It was just a haircut but it was probably the best one I’ve ever had. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was that on the website it was one price but Toni is a premium stylist so he is more $. He is totally worth it, so I don’t mind but I didn’t know and was just surprised at checkout. Definitely recommend!

I love this place! Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly and are great at what they do. I have always had a wonderful experience. I was going here for about a year and was seeing Jeffrey during that time- he is amazing! Life got crazy and I couldn’t come back for a while and when I could, I needed a last minute appt and thankfully I was able to get in!! This time I saw Jo and she was amazing as well! She exceeded my expectations and made me feel like a new woman! I can’t recommend this place enough. The color turned out beautiful!

My wife had a very poor first experience at 209 salon. Not only did she tell her stylist how much she wanted cut off her hair she also showed her stylist a picture. Her hair was cut 4 inches too short and my wife was very upset. Since I was the one who set the appointment and found the salon I felt responsible. In short for $180 Super Cuts would be a better alternative to this glorified barber shop.

I’ve been going here for years and it’s always a great experience! Rich, the owner, has always gone out of his way to make me feel welcome and remembered. He’s moved things around to get me in at the last minute. Toni who I think is also an owner now?) is excellent at his craft. He’s truly an artist with color, painting it on for the most natural look I’ve ever had. He’s also fast, not stopping the process to tell a story (which a lot of people do). Excellent and lovely salon!!

I have been a customer at 209 Salon for about 4 years now. Tony is my current stylist, and I am a very satisfied customer! I always walk away feeling amazing with a wonderful hair cut. He also cuts my daughters hair and we get so many compliments on our styles. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

Owner is so stupid. I am going in for a second appointment because the first incompetent hair dresser gave me an UNEVEN cut. I decided to tell the owner what happened and wanted someone different. He was RUDE on the phone & told me to come at 9. I arrived at 9 then he said my appointment was at 10. I was frustrated, but I waited until 10 (even though he stated on the phone it was at 9). Then I received a text message that said my appointment was originally at 9. I am livid! This owner is dumb, rude & disgusting.

I came to this salon for the first time since I moved to McKinney. I had medium length hair, 2-3 inches dark root and some grey hairs and the rest light blond highlights. I had a consultation with RICH and I decided to do balayage which was more expensive than the other services. JUICY, spend 3 hours on my hair and the result, my gray hairs were not covered at all and my light blond highlights were dark. After 4 days when I went there and showed my hair to RICH, he asked $60 for covering my root or if I want my light blond highlights back, $180 again. I didn't know what to say when RICH was just

After 4 days coming back to fix the root at least, they ask $60 for root colour or $180 for another balayage.
SOOOOO disappointed with their work and behaviour.

Before I went in I checked to see if they had a stylist familiar with cutting and styling mixed hair. I have long curly hair and do not get wet cuts, I also told them my hair was very long and thick beforehand. They said they did so I booked an appointment for a trim. I asked for long layers since my hair is super thick when I wear it curly. They seemed annoyed when it was taking a long time to blow dry it and they actually had 2 people work on drying it when my regular hairdresser takes about an hour for everything (she unfortunately wasn't available and I really needed a trim. Lesson learned

I love the open air feel of the salon with the design in white and the chairs throughout the room. I love Emilie! She's the owner and been my hairstylist for 12+ years. She encouraged me to try something different. She gives great ideas especially specific to your type of hair. She also suggested bayologe for my college daughter so she could have a more sophisticated look, but it will still look great as it grows out and she doesn't have to do it but 1x a year! Great suggestion and she loves it! I have enjoyed getting to know her and her staff. Friendly salon! Try them out!

I came to this salon for the first time so excited because I haven't had my hair done in over a year. At first everyone was friendly, which was nice. The hygiene of the salon overall was not appealing. Very dirty, but my turning point was when my ending look was nothing compared to what I asked ask for.
